Stayed in the Columba hotel for 2 nights, didn't eat in the restaurant except for breakfast which was plentiful, buffet style but a bit greasy. Coffee is also a challenge to drink !

What a lovely stay in this treasure, looking out over the Sound of Iona. A friend and I stayed for four days, in rooms with views over the Sound, enjoying sunrises like nowhere else. The rooms were comfortable with all that a guest would need. The warmth of the welcome made us feel very much at home. The food, which... More

Stayed at the St Columba for a couple of nights. Had a seaview twin room which had a fantastic view. Very comfortable with a small but perfect bathroom. Dinner was excellent on both nights and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The fire in the lounge is a perfect place to sit, read and relax. An excellent place!

We had a lovely time staying at the St Columba hotel last Thursday night Friday morning. The views from our room were fantastic and so lovely to wake up and watch the sun rise. All the staff were extremely friendly and made us very welcome. We will be back again.

A very unusual hotel! No TV in our bedroom; no phone and all the food very healthy and organically produced. Staff were very helpful, going out of their way to assist us. Lovely lounge with great view over the sea. We were on pilgrimage to the Abbey and had only a short walk to get there.

We stayed here for a week and felt so cared for by the staff. Our room was small and simple but we had a view out to the sea which was heavenly. The breakfasts and dinners were outstanding, made using fresh ingredients from their organic garden. We saw the staff bringing loads of fresh veggies from the garden to the... More

Great location over looking the sea on Iona, a lovely spot if the weather is good, with service great from the friendly staff and the lunch was the best I've had all holiday, yummy. In a nutshell I'd highly recommend. Nothing more to say...........

Lovely hotel, welcoming, friendly staff. Well situated right next to the Abbey. Very comfortable room and good meals in the dining room. Sitting room with expansive views over the island and waters. There could be a large sign near the ferry to indicate the walking path, as it was easy to take the lower path & not the most appropriate... More

Eight of us stayed for two nights. The staff were great, informative and friendly. Food was really good. Comfortable hotel. Wifi bit slow in places. I swam at St Ronans bay"13 degrees and bay at the back,of the ocean 14 degrees. Iona is a very spiritual place and we were blessed with sunshine. Would recommend this hotel. Good choice for... More
