The website and exterior are a lot nicer than the rooms. It's clean but not great, cheap uncomfortable bed (practically a camp bed) and exterior extension walls so cold/damp. The forth inn across the way looked really nice and it's probably worth an extra ten pounds to be somewhere better, (less like a prefab bungalow). Note there's also no wi-if... More

The guesthouse was conveniently located near our trail and the downtown area. It was a comfortable respite, the food was good, and we saw our innkeepers later at the pub they had recommended. Overall, fine for a night's stay.

Stayed here for one night as we hiked the Rob Roy way. The staf was wonderful and very friendly. The rooms were ok - but they were clean. The location was great as you could walk around town and enjoy what the town had to offer. Overall, not a bad place to stay but not great either.

The inn is in a great location with a traditional Scottish country exterior and public rooms. The guest rooms are nice & clean but nothing remarkable. The hosts were very pleasant and we really enjoyed our breakfast.

As our first B&B as we hiked the Rob Roy Way with another couple, this B&B was adequate. Room OK, apart from rather uncomfortable bed. Nocturnal noise from the hydronic heating. Breakfast was good but packed lunch was disappointing and over-priced.

I stayed here for seven nights and it was really good. The room was clean and offered everything you need. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and after a few days it felt like coming home to friends in the evening. Breakfast was good as well, you can choose between different things, ranging from full scottish breakfast to continental.... More

Three of us stayed in one room. An extra bed had been put into a twin room and, although it was slightly cramped we still had enough room. It was the cheapest place we stayed at out of seven. (£25 each). The ensuite shower room was huge. Nice large lounge. A wee mixup (my fault!) with breakfast in that we... More

We stayed here for one night last week for £65.00 (including breakfast). The room itself had 2 twins and an en suite restroom. The only amenities in the room were an electric kettle, which had mold in the bottom, and a 13" CRT TV that had no reception. The bathroom was terrible. Neither the shower nor the floors appear to... stayed here October 2012 for the weekend. My husband and I both enjoy hillwalking and found this was a perfect base. The woman who runs the Guesthouse works very hard and is very friendly and welcoming, she changed our room on the second night as we wanted a shower instead of a bath and provided us with extra blankets and... We walked in off the street after driving through aberfoyle and asked if they had any rooms the outside of the building is beautiful, full of character. We were lucky enough to get a room and although they were fully booked for the second night they managed to accommodate us in a sister business. The place is lovely, the rooms... More
