Typical pub. Nice area and rooms upstairs. Stayed here whilst cycling from Inverness to Carlisle tracing the lochs and glens route. Check in fine and bike stored away quickly. Ate at the inn and the service and food was good. Only issue was I was told breakfast started at 0900 which may be an issue for those who want to... More

We had a fabulous stay at the Forth Inn. Great food, great accommodation and great staff catering for your every need! Special thanks to Annie going the extra mile, much appreciated! Plenty tips and information from Phil, which was very helpful. So looking forward to returning.

Lots of character, especially in the pub. I had a comfortable and spacious room. It was quiet at night. My companions and I also had an excellent Scottish Breakfast to prepare for our day walking the Rob Roy Way.

We're fairly regular visitors to Aberfoyle and will always pop into the Forth Inn, even if it's just for one. We were 4 adults and 2 kids heading for lunch yesterday and the place was very busy. We were served very quickly and the friendly chatty bloke (manager?) behind the bar was scoping out any other tables for us, as... More

Stayed at the Forth Inn on a Sunday night a few weeks ago, we always use the Forth Inn for meals out/ drinks while staying at a nearby resort and this was the first time that we stayed overnight. The 2 rooms we had were lovely and clean and had the most comfortable beds that in my travels I can... More

Food very good, both dinner and breakfast. Impressive old stairway and gallery lounge. Electric heaters and air conditioning plant looked in need of attention, as did some of the decor. Howevery bedrooms were attractively presented and very comfortable. En suite bathrooms reasonable but mirrors far too high.

Stopped in here for a family lunch during the Easter break the staff were excellent very accommodating. It was extremely bust but we didn't have to wait too long for lunch and when it arrived none of us were disappointed. We would definitely go back

We stayed here for 1 night. While some aspects (breakfast, restaurant staff) were fine, a leaking roof in our room on the night of our stay, and the hotel's handling of this problem, cast a shadow over our stay. Just before midnight, we discovered that water was leaking into our room from an overhead beam. When we reported this to... More

Mar & Johnny, I am sorry for your experience here, what happened to you and the way you say it was handled is not what we would wish for any of our many guests. The point I was making about the roof repairs was not about cost, it was out of disapointment that the repairs had failed and what that... More

Stopped for late lunch after exploring the local area, selection of food was good and we enjoyed ours. The ales were nice and the restaurant area was comfortable. The bar staff were friendly. The Forth Inn is as much a local as it is a restaurant for tourists and this comes across in the warm atmosphere. Don't expect Claridges, do... More

Cheers Mike for your review. Lovely welcome, lovely food and lovely accommodation. Hoping to visit with my partner in May and would definitely book the Forth Inn if there are vacancies. The area has breathtaking views and the sun shone all weekend!
