We only stayed the one night but was a most enjoyable experience. Very clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. The owner, Alison, is a lovely person and provides an excellent breakfast. We had our evening meal in the Black Bull, Gartmore which we can recommend for good food, good value and friendly efficient service. The next day we... More

Our group of 6 (3 mature couples) stayed one night at this wonderful B&B. Alison the hostess is very friendly and has an excellent taste for decoration. Her house is simply wonderful and we felt really at home. Breakfast was excellent. This is definitely THE place to stay in Aberfoyle.

Two friends and I walked Rob Roy's Way in early June and we stayed in this wonderful guest house. It rained all the way from Drymen and we were pretty well saturated when we arrived at the Bield. What a great welcome though with lovely tea and coffee served in the guest lounge with a view to die for. The... More

We stayed for 4 nights in early June. Everything was just perfect - friendly hosts, good sized clean en-suite rooms, lovely breakfasts with hot and cold options, good wifi in the rooms, parking, good location (5 minute stroll to the town) excellent value for money. If you need somewhere to stay in Aberfoyle try this first !

After a long 12 mile walk on the Rob Roy Way we were greeted by Alison and immediately offered some refreshment which was appreciated. We were given a choice of a front or rear double room and picked the rear one because of the large shower cubicle. The room was well presented and there was a large selection tea/coffee ingredients.... More

An excellent B & B, beautifully furnished, the rooms are light, fresh and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. We have especially enjoyed the sitting room, and Alison our host ensured there was a roaring log fire every night. Very cosy!! We would stay here again and certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the Aberfoyle area. Thank... More

We stayed for one night at the Bield as we were attending a wedding. Alison could not have been more helpful, we arrived early and she had our room all ready for us to be able to get ready. Very clean, tidy and well presented with a comfortable bed and great ensuite. A really really lovely B & B

Stayed here for one night, while walking the Rob Roy Way, and it was fabulous. Alison could not be more helpful if she tried. Bedroom was pristine and breakfast was splendid. Aberfoyle probably has many b&b, but if you do choose this one, you will not be disappointed.

This is a lovely B&B - clean, quiet, with a very gracious and helpful host - Alison. It is situated up on a hill and our room had a very nice view. It is a short walk down into the town of Aberfoyle, where there are a few restaurants and pubs to have lunch or dinner. The breakfast was tasty... More
