Stayed in the New Lanark Mill for a wedding. Picturesque location and the hotel is a beautifully converted former Mill Building. The rooms are huge!! Nice and clean and good views out to the Heritage Centre. Our dinner at the wedding was very good and the breakfast, included in our rate, offered a good quality selection of hot and cold... more

We have just returned from an enjoyable New Year packaged break at the hotel which is located within the village of New Lanark, a World Heritage site. The hotel has been built on the ruins of one of the cotton mills and designed as it would have looked in days gone by, in keeping with the historic village. It is... more

Visited hotel with friends for murder mystery weekend , had an absolutely fantastic time, service was excellent and friendly , rooms were large, freshly decorated and clean , we stayed in The Clyde Suite , was massive with bath robes and sound of the Clyde river to soothe you to sleep . The event itself kept us amused through a... more

My husband and I had visited the area before but this autumn was our first stay at The New Lanark Mill Hotel. How lovely to walk into our bedroom and look out the window at the fast flowing Clyde. Other visitors in their reviews mention the noise of the river, but for us, that was the beauty of the place.... more

I have just returned from 3 days at the New Lanark Hotel - and wished we could have stayed several more days at least. The entire site is testament to how World Heritage sites can be sympathetically restored and yet still provide superb service for the 21st century. The New Lanark hotel enjoys a stunning setting in a gorge of... more

My husband and I and a few friends were recently invited to attend a wedding at the hotel. I am sure I am a friend of Termin8tor in an earlier review as my complaints are very similar!! When we called to reserve our room we were told there were only twin rooms left. This didn't please me too much but... more

On the website, the hotel says that check-in is normally at three, but earlier-check in can be arranged. This is not so, except for very few. Apparently, housekeeping are only able to prepare up to five rooms per day for earlier booking. So if, like us, you are travelling a long distance to a wedding, you'll have to travel in... more

Having visited New Lanark previously we booked a night at the hotel as part of our journey to Skye and looked forward to an overnight stay and meal to celebrate my birthday. The biggest disappointment was, however, the restaurant! The hotel is in a wonderful situation next to the river and the room was clean and comfortable but we did... more

My family and I (husband, mum, dad, two brothers, sister-in-law) travelled to the New Lanark Mill Hotel for a family wedding. My parents booked everything so all the rest of us had to do was turn up! So on Friday, off we went! We arrived at Glasgow Airport and collected our rental cars with ease. However, on the way to... more

This is a three star hotel and is of good quality. There is a leisure facility (pool, cold jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym). The thing that makes the hotel special is the fantastic location at the World Heritage site of New Lanark Mill. We got a great deal of Dinner, bed and Breakfast for less than £50 per person... more
