A must play golf course. Plenty of history and memorabilia hanging from their walls. The 1st Open was played here. The personnel are very friendly and ready to help. The Starter is the most elegant you will find anywhere. Coat and tie. They give you a complementary photo of your visit. It is a very traditional place. The course is... More

Had an excellent two night stay with close access to the station and Main Street. Friendly welcome and service throughout with a good good breakfast choice of traditional fried, cereal and fruit. Room we had was the family room size with lots of space. Look forward to returning.

Booked an overnight at this hotel. On arrival the staff were helpful and mannerly but when we seen the room, we decide immediately that we were not staying. Although it was clean, it was not fresh and the towels and bedding etc were old and worn. The weather was not good which meant we would have had to spend a... More

Dear Guests, sorry to hear you were disappointed with your very brief stay, within 5 minutes of being in the hotel. We have had no complaints about our towelling and linen in the past. You made it aware to the manager the reason for your quick depart was the weather forecast, we are situated within a 5 minute walk to... More

Stayed for one night in december as we were flying from prestwick airport next morning. Excellent value for money. Our bexroom was huge and had a lovely view over the gold course, it had a double bed, a single bed and what looked to be a double sofa bed in the room as well as an ensuite bath/shower room and... Stayed here for one night as we had a flight from Prestwick airport early the next morning. Easy check in, Anthony on reception was very helpful. Rooms were very comfy, beautifully decorated and immaculate. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

We stayed 3 nights in the Prestwick Old Course Hotel in July 2014. My group had two double rooms, one triple room, and a single room (8 guys). The location was great. We walked across the street to play the Prestwick Golf Clubs and drove to Turnberry & Royal Troon (45 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively). We walked to Main... More

7 of us on an annual bike trip. Exactly what was required. Staff were great and were expecting us and stored bikes securely. Sorted out some complementary snacks when enjoying a well earned post ride refreshment and breakfast was A1. Only minor comment would be that showers could do with an upgrade.
