Stayed here with my boyfriend for the night lady behind recption was extremely pleasant room clean tidy quiet bed comfy breakfast in the morning in the cafe next door(part of the hotel)was lovely aswell definetly will be back again :) great value for money x

i got rm 26 which looked out onto a flat roof with squaking seagulls ,the room was not very clean at all, mucky windows and frames, main light did not work at all maybe this was so u could not see the muck , dont stay on a saturday night if u want to sleep.loud music untill 1.30am from pub... More

I found this hotel by chance and really pleased I did. Lovely friendly hotel, with great staff, comfy rooms, modern bathrooms and wonderful food. Would recommend this hotel very highly. Although its a city centre hotel, I didn't find it noisy but very convenient for restaurants and only a ten minute walk from the beach.

have stayed overnight in the "shire" a few times and it has always been adequate.its situated at the top of the town and is handy for shops ,pubs etc.only problem with the room was that it was,nt very clean but shower was fantastic.unfortunately we were kept awake almost all of the night with squaking seagulls and our room looked on... Excellent hotel, well situated for buses. Nice rooms .Very pleasant staff. Close to town.Had meal in restaurant next door ,owned by hotel was lovely. Very clean. Not too expensive, plenty to see and do in the area.

Had to post our comments having read previous poor reviews which really aren't very fair, considering the price charged. This hotel is positioned slap bang where you need to be.
