The St. Andrews Hotel is a finely run B&B with attached bar w/ food. Adequately clean, the rooms are sufficient for touring golfers. Our room was upstairs with three single beds. The bath room was medium sized, though with plenty of hot water for two. Rated 2-stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, I initially found our hosts distant, but quickly... More

I was in the area on business and decided to take some time out to tour the area, so it was really only for a nights sleep. On entry we were impressed with the décor and the friendly service, the room was beautiful and clean, the food was also very good and very reasonably priced. We would recommend to anyone

Booked this hotel as most reviews mirrored the true reality of this hotel. Rooms were small and un welcoming. Had a day at ayr races and on return went to the bar for a few night caps.at around 9.30 we were told bar was closing and the barman did not look amused when our last order was a double order.... Stayed here for two weeks while working in the area. If i am honest, it was was far better than i expected from staying all over the country at similarly priced hotels. Breakfast was more than adequate, 2 pieces of bacon, sausage, beans, egg and a potato scone. you also get toast and pot of tea/coffee a great start to... More

Stayed here while working away recently. Extremely warm welcome from the owners, everything explained well and we were left feeling like nothing was too much to ask. Stayed for 2 weeks, rooms were cleaned with new towels and bedding every time we came back from work. Stayed in the hotel for tea some nights and food was very good value... More

I have stayed here twice, each time in a different room and each time the room was quiet & clean with a comfortable bed, LCD TV, electric kettle plus tea, coffee, milk, sugar. There is plenty of parking. There is a bar but it is situated well away from the bedrooms and so no noise is heard. Breakfast is included... More

Stayed overnight with my wife and son (£90 including breakfast, 2 rooms), charming place, clean and tidy. The evening meal was superb and we didn't have to wait too long for it, great breakfast in the morning, a perfect start to our holiday.

Stayed here when up working with my colleague. Very nice couple who run it. Despite being English couldn't have been more helpful to us. The owner even helped us to our rooms carrying a bag. Nice big room with a nice big bathroom. Awesome fresh home cooked breakfast in the morning. To be honest with you can't find one fault... More
