Nice and cosy B&B, warm and attentive service, excellent breakfast... This was our first visit to Scotland. .. Coming from Kirkcudbright, we made a one-night stop at Ayr prior to visiting Glasgow and heading North. We really enjoyed this short stay. more

The family room was very comfortable, clean and equipped with kettle and homemade shortbread. The... more

A very quiet relaxed place to stay, but still near to Ayr. If only passing through like us, do make the effort to see... more

Sunnyside lived up to the comments made on the internet. We were particularly pleased that Helen was so welcoming to our 11 year old Golden Retriever Jed. more

The breakfast was very good; I would definitely recommend the haggis. The owners were very friendly, taking the trouble to assist us with several... more

An ideal place to stay. The room was delightfully decorated and there was a great choice for breakfast, which was delicious. The bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. There is a very good family pub/restaurant just 5 minutes walk down the road which provides a very good evening meal if required. A very friendly welcome... more

Were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel, and after we had checked into Sunnyside Helen, the owner ,kindly drove us to the wedding venue. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was first-class. Helen was friendly and made us very welcome. We would definitely return. more
