We stayed on 6th February -sadly only for one night! We had a lovely stay. Greeted on arrival with home baked scones and Shortbread served with style in the spacious lounge, we new we had chosen wisely. The room was spacious with en suite facilities, clean and well presented. Helen (the owner) offered us a lift to our venue, a... More

John and Helen made me most welcome in their home during my recent unforeseen stay in Ayr. Their establishment is first-class, the Culzean room I stayed in was very well appointed and comfortable, and Helen makes a mean breakfast! Would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Sunnyside to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming time in Ayr.

After meeting a colleague in Hollybush, my partner and I decided to visit Robert Burns' birthplace museum in Alloway and stayed overnight at the Sunnyside B&B just off the A77. The facility is comfortable and clean; and the hosts very warm and welcoming.

Lovely cosy room with all facilities. We were offered a welcome tea and mince pie on arrival and Helen even gave us a lift to our party. Breakfast absolutely delicious and Helen made Gluten Free bread for my husband! Whilst we were sorting out our bags and checking out John was de-icing our car! Couldn't ask for better service! We... Due to recent flooding we were unable to return home from holidaying abroad which necessitated an overnight stay at Sunnyside. However, any disappointment we had was soon dispelled by our very welcoming hosts who showed us to our lovely room. We had a very comfortable night and a most enjoyable breakfast and I would not hesitate to recommend this bed... More

Hosts couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. We were staying to attend a funeral close by. Very comfortable B&B and wonderful breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the surrounding area and attractions.

We stayed at Sunnyside last month for one night on our way to visit family, from the minute we arrived we were treated like long lost friends by Helen, what a hostess!!! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to perfection. Got the chance to try Helen's home made soda bread which was... More

We visited Sunnyside last weekend to visit family. We loved the bed and breakfast - the rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our lovely hosts made us feel completely at home and the full Scottish breakfast with haggis was the best we have had. We hope to come back and stay again soon.

Thank you very much for your excellent review. I'm pleased you enjoyed the haggis so much. I buy all my meat from Dalduff Farm Shop and it is all local and naturally reared, butchered using traditional methods. I believe the haggis is the best you can buy. We loved having you and your family stay and hope that you do... More
