Absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing old worlde features surrounded by glorious grounds and the Bridge of Doon that Tam O'Shanter rode his horse across in the famous Robert Burns poem. Ideal for a romantic break away and definitely ideal for weddings. Food fantastic and staff delightful

This was a great day out from Glasgow. The hotel is situated near the birthplace of Robbie Burns, a small village called Alloway. We first visited the Memorial Gardens which is situated next door to the hotel. The actual hotel grounds are simply magnificent, even on 2nd January! Immaculate gardens where you can sit and meditate to the sound of... More

On entering I was given a warm friendly welcome by the receptionist and invited to have a comfy seat while waiting. The Bedrooms are superb and very clean and well decorated. Staff are highly trained and very friendly - food was excellent.

We used to come here every single year for my birthday dinner, that somewhere special you only went to once a year, but hadn't been for about 5-7 years. We returned this year on a quiet Monday night, the surroundings are as beautiful as ever and the service is excellent, even from the new start just training. The food was... More

A very popular and lovely setting for a wedding, speaking to guests that were there all day, they loved it and dinner was very good. Staff were very attentive and caring. Seems a lovely place and always busy, would recommend a visit.

We've popped into the Brig O Doon a few times whilst in Ayr and it's a lovely. The drinks are reasonably price and the atmosphere great. Although we’ve never stopped there it seems like a lovely hotel and it’s always buzzing. Most definitely recommend a visit if in Ayr.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding reception at the Brig O'Doon Hotel (Sept 2014) and we cannot rate the venue highly enough. The grounds are magnificent, the hotel is beautiful, the attention to detail and the staff were both first class. Special praise has to go to Kari, our wedding co-ordinator, for all her support...
