Visited Ayr recently for a family Wedding. We chose to stay here as it was close by to the wedding venue. The Inverlea really surprised us as to how good it was. Liz (the landlady) & family really know how to run a fantastic B&B nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend you stay here if you're visiting Ayr.

Spent a lovely night there last night and would thoroughly recommend it. Lovely touches all the way, from the chocolates in the room to the hand written card. We were going to a wedding and the owner drove us there so we didn't need to worry about the car the next day. (Way above and beyond what we expected) Spotless... More

This guesthouse lies in the outskirts of Ayr. If you are on a Burns Tour it´s an excellent stay. It takes you 5 to 10 minutes by car (I cannot remember the exact time.) to the Robert Burns Birthplace and Museum (It´s worth a visit even if you are not a Burns enthusiastic!). Liz, her staff and her family really... More

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - me and my family loved our stay at the Inverlea Guest House! Immaculately presented front of house, amazing family room with beautiful decor, water chocolates and a card on arrival! Nothing was too much and the very kind owner Liz even gave us a lift to the wedding we... More

The Inverlea is excellent in every way. The welcome was very warm and Liz and the staff would do anything to help make your stay 'the one you want'; nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are well decorated, spotless & generally well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and any 'special' requirements were catered for as if they didn't exist; and... More

Arriving at inverlea the immaculately kept front garden sets the tone for this beautifully run b&b in Ayr. From the warm welcome, lovely spotless rooms, comfy beds and nice touches like bottled water and chocolates in the room, it is hard to see how the place could be improved. The best b&b we have stayed in.

We stayed here for four nights for the Commonwealth Games and were glad that we made the decision to stay out of chaotic, busy Glasgow and over the moon with our choice of the Inverlea. Liz greeted us with a very warm welcome and a smile when we arrived after a long train journey. She showed us to our room... More

I couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome when I arrived at Inverlea after a 4 hour drive up from the Lake District. I was greeted by Douglas and a lovely glass of wine which was much needed and a cosy and comfy room. I slept like a log suffice to say! A wonderful breakfast the next morning and I... More
