My brother was getting married in the Brig O Doon and we have booked up all the rooms for our family in this B&B. And it was the best decision we made. Liz (the owner) could have not been any more welcoming and caring about our every need (and we weren't the easiest to handle when we were all getting... More

We opted to stay here having seen the great reviews on this site and I agree with all the positive comments. Lovely place handy for the centre of Ayr and an easy walk into town. We received a very warm welcome from Liz including a very welcome drink. Room was immaculate, well equipped and the welcome tray included a personal... More

We were visiting family in Ayr and picked here based on the reviews on Trip adviser, and I'm so pleased we did. Liz wasn't there when we stayed which she had told me about, so her lovely mum welcomed us and took us to our room. The hall was really lovely with gorgeous wainscotting and it smelled great. Our room... More

We stayed for 2 nights with our 5 year old daughter in a lovely family room. Now we have had some bad accommodation experiences in the past and are notoriously difficult to please. Inverlea didnt disappoint at all. Liz was really welcoming, offered us a choice of rooms and generally couldnt do enough. Breakfast selection was great and service very... More

We stayed at Inverlea with our 2 children (4yr & 8yr old) and our dog, for 3 nights. After a very long drive we received an extremely warm welcome from Liz, with offers of welcome drinks, help with bags and kids, and an offer of recommendations for somewhere to eat. We were shown around the property and introduced to Liz's... More

What a great place to stay! Gorgeous characterful house with a homely feel. Hosts Liz and Douglas were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The welcome drink, choice of anything you liked, we chose beer and a glass of wine, was a lovely touch and got the stay off to a great start. Plenty of suggestions from Liz... More

Central location for town & exploring Ayr. Fantastic rooms with comfy bed; Liz can't do enough for you to make your stay welcome. Great restuarant next door beatiful garden to look out on whilst enjoying your breakfast. Good parking facilities in a quiet location but short walk into town. Highly recommend to anyone planning to visit this area for a... More

We stayed there for 5 days and I will remember them for good. Liz and the rest of her staff where so kind, willing to help us in any matter, constantly asking if everything was alright and trying to make our visit the most profitable. She gave us good advices and recomendations about the area, countryside, restaurants... They made our... More

We were booked at another B&B which developed a problem in our room and graciously booked us into Inverlea Guest House. What a treat - Liz and her staff are absolutely fabulous. A warm, friendly greeting and glass of wine welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a view overlooking... More

We stayed in Inverlea Guest house for two nights one of my friends decided at the last moment to join us. Nothing was too much for Liz and Douglas to fit us in. We had such a lovely and warm welcome from Douglas we knew straight away we had made a good choice, from the lovely welcoming card to the... More
