I was staying at Inverlea with work and had the accommodation booked for me so had no preconceptions whatsoever. Liz called me during the day (that I would arrive) and asked what time I would be with them, as it was a Saturday night and much as she'd love to be there to welcome me, she'd also like to spend... Just back from 5 days here with my elderly mum. I have to say that Liz made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. She made us feel so comfortable and treated my mum with so much respect. The breakfast was lovely, though I'll have to go on a diet now!! I would recommend this Guest house to... More

I arrived a couple of hours earlier than expected to be greeted by one of the very friendly and welcoming proprietors, Liz. From then on in they couldn't do enough for me, and made me really feel welcome. The guest house is spotlessly clean but also homely, and the room was perfect. Couldn't fault the breakfast in the morning either.... More

I arrived late and left late. Place was spotless, room comfortable, food good and no issues with late check in and late breakfast. Location is great if visiting Ayr. One recommendatoin for all B and B's in UK. Is it possible to have an option for breakfast like french toast or pancakes? After being on the road and staying at... More

This was the best guest house ever stayed in. Our room was wonderful overlooking the new landscaped garden. Liz and her team of helpers were wonderful. Their hard work showed in the cleanliness and commitment to detail. Breakfast was delicious, scrambled egg like we have never tasted. Max their little boy was a delight, a waiter in the making. We... The guest house was fresh & clean with very friendly & helpful staff who even gave us a lift in their own car to the Brig O' Doon for the wedding we were attending! Breakfast was lovely, after 3 years of living in Australia it was great to get a proper full Scottish breakfast.

We spent 2 nights here in early May. Liz is a delightful and hospitable hostess. Much to my suprise, she actually carried our bags up and down the staircase. We were made to feel quite welcome. Breakfast is a typical Scottish breakfast prepared with care and wonderfully tasty. Should we ever go to Ayr again, this is where we will... More

What a great establishment. Lovely sized house with generous rooms in a quite street setting in Ayr that is within walking distance to the beach and town centre. The hosts were outstanding. I would not hesitate in recommending this guest house to anyone.

I booked a room in Ayr rather last minute, and I was delighted to stumble upon such a great B&B. Liz provided warm hospitality from the time I arrived until the moment I left.. Breakfast was just lovely too! It was just a short walk from both the train station and the beach, making for a convenient stay.
