This guest house is in a good area and the staff are friendly and chatty but I was disappointed in my room - it was old fashioned and could do with a make-over. The carpet was dirty at the edges and there was dust on the dressing table especially behind the television. The quilt was also marked. The shower however... More

Family room was very spacious! We have a family of 4 with a young daughter and a teen and we were very comfortable! The room was very clean! Beds were comfortable! The staff was very nice! We went out and enjoyed the area and came back to enjoy some downtime in our room without feeling cramped! Highly recommend!

We stayed here for two nights last bank holiday. We had a twin room at the back (no. 5) it was lovely and quiet, no road noise, in fact no noise at night. Breakfast was lovely with a fresh and ripe fruit salad of Scottish strawberries, cherries and melon as well as the usual cooked breakfast. My elderly mother didn't... More

Have just had a 2 night stay here which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. Our room with ensuite bathroom was immaculately clean and our breakfasts set us up for the day and were freshly cooked to order. Would have no hesitation in recommending Langley Bank Guest House and if visiting Ayr again would most definitely stay here

The room was large, clean, well heated, well ventilated, well appointed and had a very comfortable bed. The ensuite facilities were excellent, with plenty of hot water and quality towels. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. Our hosts were most helpful and accommodating, allowing us to securely park our motorcycles on their hard standing behind gates. We were made... More

Left Northumberland that morning doing a touring holiday of Scotland and managed to get to Ayr for the first night. Langley Bank was one of the first ones that we saw and going by the adage of liking what you see we stopped and stayed the night, very comfortable indeed and a great breakfast to set you up for the... A group of four of us stayed here for six nights whilst in Scotland attending the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The property was very conveniently located close to the centre of Ayr and the train station. Ayr itself is well located with respect to Glasgow, the Isle of Arran, other nearby tourist attractions and has excellent shops, pubs and restaurants.... More

We stayed 4 nights at Langley Bank having chosen Ayr as a base for visiting the Commonwealth Games. We were not disappointed. The B&B is lovely - we went for the twin room at the front which was spacious and with a large window ideal for fresh air in the unusual heat wave in Scotland! It is on the road... More

Stayed at this guest house for 2 nights as a base to go over to Arran on a cycle trip. It was ideal - nice room with nice decor overlooking the lovely large garden. Good Scottish breakfast set you up for the day! Owner was very informative re places to visit and restaurants. Easy walking distance to the town centre... More
