We chose to stay here for a few days as we were up for the race meeting, which unfortunately, was abandoned. Upon arrival, there is a large parking area at the back, and the staff were friendly. We were shown to our room, which was bright enough, but a little chilly, with a king sized bed, which was comfy, but... More

Held my partners 40th birthday party here at the weekend. We started with a family meal....lovely fresh food, good choice and great table service. We then had our party through in the function suite and everything was just perfect. Buffet was delicious, staff were really friendly and helpful and on hand for anything we needed. Would def book this venue... More

The management of this hotel are very friendly but the hotel does feel a bit 'tired'. The single room was very small, though the bathroom was very pleasant, not just a 'box' with a good shower and the room was very clean.

We stayed here as a break in the journey on our way to Northern Scotland and selected it because it is an easy walk from bothe the sea and the town centre. First impression was that it was looking rather down at heel from the outside and on entering the hotel it is very old fashioned. The room was fine,... More

Close to Ayr town centre this hotel offers good value for money, an excellent welcome and, for my daughter and I, offered a very comfortable room with a great breakfast. The room was very clean as was the hotel throughout, reflecting what can only be good management. We would both have no hesitation in coming back to this very friendly,... More
