Guest rooms have spectacular views over Oban Bay and range from spacious singles, through generous doubles and twins, to large family rooms suitable for up to two adults and two children. All rooms are en-suite, have colour TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds and meals may be taken outside in good weather. Relax on the seats around the garden or follow the scenic paths into the hills and glens south of Oban which begin from the rear of the property. You'll find plenty to see and do here. Alt-na-Craig is the ideal touring base whether heading north to Fort William and Glencoe or south to explore Kilmartin Glen or the Crinan Canal. Anyone finding themselves stuck for accommodation for the Scottish Grand National or a golfing tour might consider this B& B gem. I've never been compelled to post comments on here before, but I had to share this one with you. Its further out of Ayr than I originally intended for my golfing and racing weekend, but I had no choice.... more
