I was concerned about previous reviews however these relate to before the take over by Mckeever hotels. Look only at the more recent reviews. The hotel is an old mansion with superb grounds and two council run golf courses attached. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. more

i am told this hotel has recently been refurbished however, not to my standards anyway.
