I have been travelling backwards & forwards from London to Ayr for over 40 years and in my opinion, this is the best Ayr has to offer. The owners are delightful, the whole house is tastefully furnished and the breakfast is to die for. So look no further, but please save a room for me. Andrew & Christine Berkhamsted More

I was booked here by the 'Walking Holidays' travel company and it was my last stop during one week Scotish Coast Hike. I knew nothing about the place prior to my arrival. What a treat!!!! Room was tastefully furnished (5* standard) and breakfast was divine. The owners pampered us with attention and helpful advice on things to do in the... More

I booked 26 The Crescent for our first Scottish Hogmanay & to celebrate my husbands 5oth Birthday and am so glad I did! Joyce & Michael from the very start of our stay were like old friends. The welcome we recieved was the warmest we have had and nothing was too much trouble for them. There were 5 in our... More

I've been to so many B&Bs before but this one is just brilliant. A colleague recommended to me as a place to stay when I'm working in Ayr, never has to find anywhere else! The friendliness, cleanliness, cosy-ness are examplary. I even brought my family over to enjoy the experience. Michael&Joyce thanks a ton for your hospitality. More

If you wanted a first class example of how to do the little things right and give customers a brilliant experience, then other hotel/B&B owners should book in for a night here. I was greeted with a smile and a handshake by Michael, the owner, who took my bag up to my room while I filled in the formal paperwork... More

My wife and I recently booked this guest house for a 1 night stay while attending a wedding in the local area. Michael and Joyce are rightly commended for their warm hospitality and were attentive without being overbearing. We greatly appreciated their personal touch and genuine interest in assisting with taxi arrangments for us to go to the wedding venue... More

I can't believe I took so long to write this review but I just can't stop remembering my wonderful stay here while I was in Ayr last May. My room was beautiful and sunny. I enjoyed relaxing in the front room as well. The breakfast was amazing - best porridge I had in all of Scotland. My only regret is... More

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment the front door opens and you see Michaels smiling, happy face (and he knows your first name, a brilliant trait, well done Michael!) you know you've made a great choice. The welcome is second to none and it just get's better from there on. The whole place is immaculate, very well... More
