The room was stunning, breakfast was amazing and the location was fantastic. Right by the beach! Perfect for a pre breakfast stroll and right by so many amazing places to eat. Will be staying here again. A very happy traveler

It was Scotland's referendum and the although we managed to book to a different B&B, that other one was just closed. The owner assisted us in contacting the other owner and then agreed to host us and she took the payment from her neighbor. Rooms and Breakfast was excellent.

No, I mean it, this is without doubt the nearest thing that I have encountered to perfection in a B&B. The maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms and public areas could not be faulted. The bed was enormous and very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Choccies on the pillows and other little extras just added to the feeling of... More

Five out of five is no exaggeration - this was without doubt the best accommodation we found during our ten days in Scotland. Everything was excellent and the hosts and staff truly accommodating. Top marks plus for comfort, breakfast, cleanliness and facilities. We travel throughout Europe regularly and this is one of the best places - if not the best-... More

My partner and I have just returned from a short stay at Craggallan. The room was bright, well furnished and exceptionally clean. We had a good first nights sleep. Breakfast the next day was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. On returning to our room we realised the shower wasn't working so we advised staff at once. They apologised... More

My wife and I started our 2 week trip of the UK and Paris here. And by far the best B&B we encountered. The staff and service was incredible. We had the private garden room on the first floor, and it was wonderful. The attached atrium and garden were beautiful. And the breakfast was amazing, the best of our entire... More

This is the fifth year we have been to Ayr for a golfing weekend, the 2 guest houses we use are this one and Bye The Sea which is owned by the same lady and just a few doors away. Rooms are all ensuite and very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is always very good and you do not come... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a weekend at the Craggalan Guest House. We had room 6 with the conservatory and private garden leading from this. Everything from cleanliness, staff, location to seafront and town centre were fantastic. The breakfast is amazing, you have a tick list which you complete the night before, selecting what you want and... More
