Well, I arrived unannounced and the lady of the house was really helpful and was quite happy to drive me around the town to find places that would interest me.We had a very enjoyable time at night with the owner...If you didn't then maybe you need to get a life!!!!! The new owners of said hotel are simply marvelous. Very eager to help and always keen to nip any problems in the bud. They have a no nonsense approach to things but are amicable and very friendly. Noise was never a problem even with a family party going on downstairs, and teh Meals were the best i've had in ages!... more

We spent a week at Bellsbank while in the area on a fishing trip. We were received with great warmth and friendliness. The new owners could not have been more helpful: a freezer was made available for our catch, we were able to dry our gear after a day out in the open, the meals were tailored to our specific... more

Can i say, this is the faulty towers, in hotels. We were rather shocked at the way this hotel was ran, but what an experience. The owner and her staff were so friendly, drunk and laid-back. This is withoubt doubt the worst hovel I have ever stayed in, including hotels in Beirut, Lebanon and Wales. Words can't describe the cast of characters that work there. I just want to share this terrible experience .. we booked this hotel on the internet for the Valentine week-end . the room was terrible , not even with a sink, only one bathroom (for 3 or 4 rooms - had to wait 45 mn to bath our baby son) , we didn't know yet what was to come ....... more
