Beautiful hotel with an even more beautiful wild garden. Great for the kids, with swings and slide, and a complete get-away...almost forgot we were in the middle of Ayr! The family that run it are lovely. Couldn't be more helpful and genuine. Will be rushing back for dinner and another beer in the garden if this weather stays!

We had a lovely stay. The staff are typical of Scotland's west coast - friendly and welcoming. Only problem was our shower - sounded like a machine gun ! Had a lovely overnight stay courtesy of an 'Itison' voucher. Very comfortable room, excellent dinner and breakfast, staff were courteous and helpful and free parking. The gardens to the rear of the hotel are beautiful and due to a seasonably hot day we were able to relax outside with a glass of wine prior to dinner.

Approach was clean and tidy,all staff( and there were many which in its self is unusual in this day and age)were very pleasant and correct in everything they did,nothing was a problem from the Owner down,everything done with a smile.
