We have stayed there three times in the last month. Room 9 (sea view) and room 11 (the Blenheim Room) were excellent, especially the Blenheim. Bed was very comfortable, and amenities excellent. Could not fault the bedroom. Ate in the dining room for dinner 3 times, and very happy each time, with a good variety of choices, but limited wine... More

Fab location, as close to the beach as you like. Our room was comfortable and spacious and had a view of some lovely ponies out on the grass. I felt very relaxed there. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner I thought, but that wasn't too big a deal. The pool area felt a little shabby and make-shift but it... More

We chose the Arran room which was a pleasant surprise with a giant bed, a spacious bathroom and a telescope in the bay window to view the Isle of Arran. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the sofas in Martins bar were really comfy while we sipped our cocktails after the long drive from Skye. We perused... More

I gave my sister and my new brother in law this gift as a wedding present . From the moment that they both arrived it was a fiasco ! They were not given directions to their room and wondered around like lost children , they finally found their room and put the key in the door to the door being... More

Stayed here with family 2 adults and 1child in each room we had the room titled the Ellington which although it was a large room unfortunately it was dated so much so that when the decor was in fashion Duke Ellington would have been alive. The food at the hotel was of a high standard good selection of buffet style... More

Enjoyed my stay here. The food was average but everything else was very good. I had a couple of problems with my room but the staff were happy to help sort things out. The breakfast was very good. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Would defiantly recommend.

Our room was very nice, comfortable beds and very clean. The bar/ restaurant are was very nice... More

We only spent one night at The Fairfield House but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room (the Blenheim) was fabulous, it was large, comfortable and had lovely sea views even though they were slightly restricted. The bathroom was huge with a bath and a shower. We had pre dinner drinks on the terrace with views over to Arran. Both... More

We stayed 4 nights while playing golf locally, our first room had a small double bed, but they happily moved us to another room with a bigger bed. The food was good, both the breakfast and the evening menu. The staff very helpful. The swimming pool is nice with a small gym. Nice views and a pleasant locations with good... More
