Words can hardly do justice to this B and B . First of all, Jimmy and Aileen MacKie took us into their home and their hearts to give us three days and nights of comfort. The bedroom was a good size with an ensuite .. Breakfast served in their sunroom overlooking a beautiful garden was ample . Such an interesting... More

Mom, baby(2months old) and myself stayed at this friendly B&B for one night when visiting the Robert Burns sites, which are close by. Our accommodation was a lovely, clean 1 bedroom suite with private bathroom and enough space for all of little one's goodies. The full breakfast was delightful. Jimmy and Eileen were very welcoming and a great source of... More

Our stay at Garth Madryn was wonderful. Our hosts Jimmy and his wife Eileen were so warm and helpful They drove us to the hospital on our first day, when we told them we need to check out the place. They were genuinely always ready to help with whatever you needed; from getting the nail clipper, a stapler, and most... More

had just a one night stay here to visit the Burns Museum and Cottage close by which was great. on reflection would probably have preferred to have an upstairs room - seemed kind of strange to have the bedroom next to the breakfast conservatory - the other four guests got to breakfast before we did..... nice atmosphere and good tips... I think they have 3 or 2 guest rooms. My room with the bathroom was lovely and clean and you have enough space. The windows were clean and you could them open. The breakfast was delicious. The landlady and the landlord ask each day, what I want to eat. They make also a hot meal for breakfast. All the food... More

We had a lovely welcome, everything was excellent, from the shower to the nice talk, sitting on the patio. Thank you very much! The location is easy to find, and you can park the car in front of the house.

From the warm welcome to the sad fairwell, this overnight stay was relaxing. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the conservatory was excellent, and Ayr and the surrounding countryside a revelation. Thank you Eileen and Jimmy for sharing your home with such friendliness.

Eileen and Jimmy made us feel most welcome in their warm and welcoming guest house. Excellent breakfast which we enjoyed in the bright, spacious conservatory. Enjoyed a coffee in the beautiful garden.

Eileen and jimmy made us very welcome, breakfast was lovely. Gardens are beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable with our own en-suite. Town centre is a short distance away. Will be back again and will recommend to friends and family. Carol, John, Denise and Robert (the Creightons).
