My partner booked Beaches as a present for my 40th birthday, mostly based on the fantastic reviews. Everything that you read is true. The breakfast caters for everything you could wish for. The homemade short bread was scrumptious, as was the homemade jams. The rooms were spotless and the decor was very modern and rather quaint. It is very well... More

What a wonderful stay, fabulous room with every little thing provided for. Jan has nailed it, and we were just sorry it was such a short stay. Thanks a million for looking after our little family. X P.S. The home baked shortbread is too die for.

Back again for a week to watch the National bowling finals. Great time was had by Betty and I. Jan was the hostess with the mostest. Couldn't do enough for us. Well worth a visit. I would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for somewhere to stay which is close to all the amenities of Ayrshire

Beaches is made special by the very lovely little touches, from the delicious home made shortbread to the baked beans at breakfast coming in a wee jug so as not to flood the egg and tatty scone. The bed was very comfortable we had the best night's sleep of our whole holiday, if not our whole life! Jan looked after... More

Started of with the best welcome ever, then shown to our room which was stunning and immaculate, Jan (owner) couldn't have been any more helpful as she advised us where to go for dinner and drinks (tree house) and that was also perfect,if your looking for a happy welcome and relaxed atmosphere the beaches guest house is a must, I highly... Only stayed one night, would have been nice to have stayed longer. Very welcoming, clean and spacious room, great breakfast. We were given lots of advice regarding local pubs and places to eat, all of which were spot on.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beaches. Warmly welcomed by Jan and enjoyed the first of many of her fresh shortbread biscuits. Very comfortable room with its own small kitchen area and easy access to the garden and the sea front. The breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared fruit salad each day, meals cooked to order with plenty of choice... More

We had an overnight stay and it was a delight. The owner and her daughter could not have been more helpful. The guest house is beautifully appointed and the dog - Goldie - is lovely. Situated close to the front and very accessible to the town.
