The room we had was spacious and top notch. Lovely bathroom, fridge, coffee / tea making facilities, homemade shortbread, flat-screen TV etc. You can park outside the guest house too with a free permit. The service was second to none from both Jan (the owner) and her mum; both were so friendly and accommodating. Large choice of excellent quality food... More

We only stayed there one night and wished we stayed there for longer! Beautiful room, huge bed, great location, yummy breakfast and, the best of all, Jan the owner. She is an amazing woman, full of life and experiences. Believe me, this place is a 10 with no buts! Thank you Jan, John, Johnny and I won't forget you.

Jan was an absolutely superb host. We had the room at the back which, needless to say, was absolutely spotless. This particular room featured a fully functional kitchen so should you plan an extended stay meal preparation would be very easy. This room was adjacent to a wonderful garden which had tables and chairs allowing for that quiet evening drink... More

Nice central location just off the Esplanade and 5 min. walking distance to city center. Jan the innkeeper is a bright and shining personality and cooks a mean breakfast as well. Our room was large and squeaky clean. Our bed (king)was as comfy as our fancy one at home. One of our 2 best B & B experiences in Scotland... More

two weeks touring Scotland, our 4th trip .... Beaches is at the top of the B & Bs we have visited (out of a total of perhaps 45). Jan is the Innkeeper and the shining personality that makes this place what it is. Our room was large and roomy with a bed that rivals our fancy king at home. Bath... More
