Had a function booked at the Ayr Station Hotel. First of all they double booked us and we had to reschedule. A few weeks after taking our deposit, we got a standard mail-shot to all customers stating they were shutting the hotel and cancelling all functions. Not even an attempt to offer us an alternative. We were devastated. After repeated... More

Booked a party here for this summer, although I did have reservations, but went ahead on good faith. After an initial visit, where we were told the date we wanted was available, we then contacted the sales manager to secure booking as she wasn't able to see us when we visited. Email was sent stating we wanted to confirm. Later... More

We stayed last September for one night and my husband believed he had booked bed & breakfast for both of us. I didn't make it down (that last glass of vino) which I'm quite glad about as my husband had settled himself, the waiter had brought tea and toast then asked for our room number. My husband provided this, the... More

The room was clean, spacious and had a very comfy bed. The bathroom was ok, apart from some of the taps falling off and the toilet leaking slightly. Also, there was coffee and tea available, but the milk was off... Well, I guess I am not painting the best picture here, but for the price we paid, it was good.... More

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions whilst staying overnight in Ayr, we found the rooms to be nice, clean and big. The staff were helpful and friendly and always make us feel welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to return good hotel for the price.

I stayed here for a 2 night stay. I had previously stayed here in 2009 and i vowed never again but was told it now had new owners/management so decided to give it another go. On arrival me and my elderly mother(who has now passed away) was greeted by two drunken men arguing at the entrance. When we entered i... More

I read all the reviews after booking this trip. I thought I had made a dreadful mistake but at least set off from home with no grand expectations. When we arrived the receptionist was lovely and welcoming. Our room was small but cosy with a decent bathroom. The staircase was clean and tidy although the lift didn't work. I did... More
