From phoning to book my stay and throughout my three night visit Jackie and Billy were the perfect hosts. Absolutely nothing was a bother my room was spotless and very comfy also the breakfast choice was second to none and they do make a cracking wee plate of porridge which is my very favourite thing. Will certainly be visiting again... More

Stayed here for a few nights on business. Lovely personal welcome, nothing was too much . Great breakfasts and very comfortable bed. Little extras like mineral water and sweets. Close to railway station. Supermarket directly opposite. Will definitely use again.

We stayed one night here and it was excellent. Jackie was a warm and welcoming host and our room was a good size, clean, cosy and comfortable. Well within walking distance to everywhere (less than five minutes to the picture house and train station). Breakfast was wonderful. A faultless stay.

Over many years now we have stayed in several guest houses in Ayr, but Turas-Mara is the best yet. This has been our third year here and it is always the same. We get a great Scottish welcome from Jackie and Billy, who can never do enough to make our stay comfortable. The room is spotlessly clean and has every... More
