Just back from the Berkeley after a relaxing weekend. Check in was quick and efficient and we were shown to our room and told where everything was. The room itself was terrific, nicely decorated and well laid out. We had the two best nights sleep we have had in a long time. Breakfast was fine with good quality food, my... More

We had a church party outing for lunch. The service was very poor. The food was good. However, the person responsible for the bill overcharged us by at least £100. We had the people involved and recouperated some of that money. On that I would not recommend anyone to stay here. They are unscrupulous and our experience was most unpleasant.... More

Myself and my wife were visiting for the Commonwealth Games for 4 nights and decided to stay in Ayr and travel in rather than experiencing the hugely inflated Glasgow hotel prices. We were therefore leaving early and returning late to the Berkeley each day, however the time we did spend there was disappointing. We checked-in early evening after the long... More

Lovely overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. Great location, very close to beach front or short walk to town. Staff were fantastic with my son and really went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and the bar was nice and comfortable to enjoy some cocktails. Absolutely loved the hotel... More
