stayed here for my friends hen night, got up in morning and my bed was covered in ants! the floor was also covered! I went and got the hotelier, she said I must have brought them with me! very unhelpful and rude! I asked for my money back and she refused! I have phoned the environmental health and tourist board.... More

I had a very enjoyable stay here, I had a sea view, comfy room en-suite shower/toilet and very handy for the local town. It's very well placed for tourists about 2 mins walk from the sea. There's plenty to do in Ayr, from golf to horse racing and some nice restaurants nearby.

Rooms are ok but lacks a personal touch. Breakfast woz poor with eggs under cooked.

After a dissapointment because of valcanic ash. I had promised my 7 year a wee holiday. We tried to get a room at a few mostly overpriced hotels and B&Bs in the area to no avail. stayed here in june 2007 on a golfing holiday,booked 2 single rooms at a very good price of £28 pppn.the rooms were small but fine.The breakfasts were very good and the staff friendly.All in all a nice place to stay.

I stayed a few days in Windsor Hotel. Good breakfast, PC for internet, rooms are comfortable, owner is very helpfull. And 2 minutes away from sea.

The Windsor Hotel was just perfect. We required an early check in and it was no problem at al. The two ladies who own the hotel were so friendlly and welcoming. Stayed at this hotel during the British Open at Turnberry and Dorothy & Lorraine couldn`t have been nicer. Found everywhere in town was either fully booked or charging over the odds for what was on offer.
