I have visited the Kylestrome on many occasions for lunch and dinner and most recently with larger parties in the function suite. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is always delicious and well presented. I have never had a bad meal here and it continues to be a favourite place to go. I feel the need to... More

We had looked at staying in the Kylestrome for some time as it looked a bit upmarket on the web page. We decided to have a weekend there recently. However we were a bit disappointed in the residential part of it. The room was very basic and needed a bit if decoration done on it. The toilet and shower area... More

We enjoyed a 2-night stay at the Kylestrome despite stormy February weather. The staff are cheery and informal, the restaurant fine and the food very good. It is an easy walk from Ayr railway station, unless the weather is really bad (it was), in which case you can walk up to the taxi rank on the road and travel the... More

Stayed in the Kylestrome on a business trip to Prestwick. I had a recently upgraded room labelled as 'executive' which was very comfortable. Diane the manager was very friendly and very efficient and couldn't do enough to help, the staff were also very good and happy to chat. I also ate in the Restaurant in the evening on a couple... Stay many times during the year. Fab location, central to all amenities. Good sized immaculate and extremely comfortable rooms, well equipped. Breakfasts lovely and very friendly staff. Wide choice to suit everyone's taste on the dinner menu, excellent meals.

Stayed overnight on Saturday, 29 November 2014 and decided to upgrade to the suite. Absolutely amazing room with remote TV at bottom of bed and also a TV in the lounge area. Bathroom was huge with his and her sinks and a large jacuzzi bath. Room was well lit with 2 beautiful chandeliers as well as other nice table lamps... More

Went here for a late lunch on Sunday and was impressed initially by the surroundings in the restaurant. Roast dinner was well presented and very tasty and starters were also very good. Service was also excellent. Will definitely return.
