My husband and I came to Ayr to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A cosy B&B close to the sea front. slept soundly in the small but comfortable double bedroom. Enjoyed em suite facilities, again small but clean and adequate. The breakfast in the morning was included in the price of the room and could be called anything small. my husband... More

Stayed in room 6 ground floor twin room. Bed comfortable and slept well. Room is small adequate for two people however there's no room for a wardrobe and only a small chest of drawers for your things and a coat rack. Room is clean and cleaned every day of our stay. Shower worked well. Hotel has wooden flooring and can... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night and we were really pleased with our stay. It is a gorgeous b&b in a great location. The room was spotless and the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend :)

Family stayed here in June. Room absolutely abismal. Small and pokey, awoken with noisy kitchen below. Staff varied between non existant and sour. Don't bother leaving a review for example as my family did on booking.com unless you are willing to accept sheer rudeness and surlyness from these so called professionals. Family member was immediately contacted after leaving a honest... More

What a fantastic guest house. I reckon it had everything from the chocolate éclairs in reception, fantastic bed and room to a delightful breakfast certainly the full works from cream with you porridge to bacon, sausages, square sausages, black pudding and haggis. The B and B is in a lovely terrace of similar B and B's very near the sea... More

One block away from the Beach, this B&B is first class. Everything it has is quality from the type of soap in the bathroom to the massive cooked breakfast. The bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom with a large shower room. Check out was 11am which made a nice change to most of the 10am places.

We booked on-line, and called and emailed to confirm that we were booked at Bythesea for our three day stay in Ayr. This might sound negative, but please keep reading. When we got there, they had overbooked the hotel and did not have a room for us. But this is when good turned to great. They have another B&B down... More
