Located in village of Baltasound on the island of Unst, Shetland. Nicely located in centre of Unst & I think it is the only hotel on Unst. Great views aroundabout - especially from lounge bar. I stayed in semi detached wooden chalet in grounds next to main hotel building. Not new but OK, twin bedded with small shower room. All... more

My then 17 year old daughter,my 70 year old uncle,and I (50 year old man) had a delightful time visiting Baltasound. The hotel is well run. The pub has a good 'feel' to it and the staff were very friendly. I would love to go and spend a few days just hanging out there at night. My 'Shetland Cousin" Cecil... more
