We were so delighted with this wonderful hotel in the lovely old 1700's building! I don't know how they have managed it but the spotlessly clean rooms are updated to current standards without appearing that the structure has been modified - modern bathroom, flat screen digital television and wifi outlets. I have used Trip Advisor for 3 years now and this has been the first time I have written a comment. However the owner and the Hotel should be recognised. Ashtree House is an excellent hotel we stayed one night. When we arrived we were welcomed by Maureen who showed us to our room. Ashtree House is a hidden gem (boutique style small hotel) in a small oasis in the conservation area of Paisley situated in a secluded tree lined courtyard off the main thoroughfare - you wouldn't know it was there.
