Stayed here on a Saturday night while in Paisley visiting family. Staff were freindly and helpful room was fine for the price. The biggest issue was didn't get a wink of sleep due to the noise from a wedding taking place in the restaurant below the room. The rooms are not sound proofed in any way. Phoned booking, then luckily phoned to double check 1 week before to find there was no booking. They even took CC detail so we were baffled after booking twice to arrive and they still never had our booking, unlucky for us they still had a room available!! The Watermill is a bit of a favourite of mine; handy really because I seem to spend a lot of time there on business. Its decent value if you book the evening meal with the room. I stayed at the Watermill Hotel for 7 days in 2005 for a personal holiday. The hotel certainly has it's old world charms, though lacks slightly in the true luxury that is presumed in the advertisement.
