We recently stayed at this hotel for a family wedding and have to say that we were a bit disappointed in certain aspects of the stay. The food and service at the wedding reception were good, although we did have to do a bit of detective work to find out where the bar was as the main lounge bar was... more

We have used this Hotel on and off for years for corporate bookings, but we were shocked at how it has slipped in recent months. We wont be using it again until they sort themselves out. It appears they are going "down market" in the week in an attempt to fill the rooms. Lots of builders and construction types in... more

We have just held our wedding at Gleddoch House and were delighted with everything. The service was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had a number of visitors from outside of Scotland and they were very impressed by the location and hospitality. We would def recommend Gleddoch House both as a hotel or as a... more

Booked via VisitScotland website for £55 for bed and breakfast - room ready when we arrived around 2pm although the receptionist told us the wrong room number we just followed what the key card said. Room: Room was very spacious with clean modern bathroom. It was very quiet, hardly heard any corridor noise at all. Leisure: the swimming pool is... more

We've just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel and will not return. The hotel is in a wonderful situation with panoramic views out across the River Clyde with Ben Lomond away in the distance but is rather spoiled by poorly trained, indifferent staff. We were hardly ever made to feel as if they wanted us to be there.... more

I had read some fairly negative reviews of this hotel and am happy to redress the balance. We have just returned from a two night break on D B & B basis at a very reasonable price. Our room was enormous and we enjoyed wonderful views across the river. There was plenty of storage space and a comfortable king size... more

Room was not ready when arrived. Came back one hour later traipsed up stairs to find room still not ready.Waited in bar which was small tables not cleaned crumbs and a member of staff having a return to work interview. The bedroom was nice and big although bathroom door sticking on floor tiles. Tried to have dinner at night but... more

We arrived in the middle of a wedding & were made to feel as if we were an inconvenience. We were put in the new wing which looked like a golf club. We later found out it was. The only bar was the golf club bar & it was cold. We did not have a remote control for our TV... more

On arrival at the hotel the staff were so friendly and made me feel at home straight away. This is important to me as I often travel alone on business. I was greeted by a porter who offered to help me to my room. The level of service was as high standard throughout the hotel. In the restaurant the style... more

This hotel is in a brilliant setting with beautiful views. I had my wedding there and overall it was a good experience. All the staff were very freindly and helpful except the English girl at working at the reception. My wedding guests came in from America and had a similar experience with her. She was rude, unhelpful and arrogant. Essentially... more
