We recently stayed for one night on our journey and have to say things were absolutely delightful in every respect. The rooms were super and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, a breakfast that you would struggle to beat in a city top end hotel... In our opinion Dalshian House would be extremely hard to beat - Thankyou for making our... More

The first thing that comes to mind after the overall impressive look of the beautiful property when you first arrive at Dalshian is the friendliness and hospitality of the hosts, Heather and Martin! It was by far the most welcoming greeting we must have had. Our host, Martin showed us around and gave great recommendations on places to eat as... More

Another happy visit to Dalshian . Warm welcome was received on our arrival. Rooms cosy with little extra touches not normally found in B/B establishments. Breakfast as usual delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.

We stayed here for one night In August 2014, Booked in March or so and owner was very helpful and friendly over the phone. He agreed we could also leave our luggage prior to actual check in time. The actual stay- room was clean, in very good condition, and very comfortable, especially the bed. The shower was lovely, and the... More

Beautiful breakfast made to order in a lovely dining room with great views of the garden and grounds. The room was a bit tired and old fashioned decor but nice comfy bed. Fabulous location and in easy reach to the main town.

An establishment which deserves its excellent ratings! We were given a warm welcome on arrival along with useful local information. Our room exceeded expectations with many small but welcome touches to make our stay more comfortable, such as a proper teapot and fresh milk. The room itself was spacious and well furnished, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, both... More

We were there much too short--less than 24 hours. A lovely garden and serene area to walk. Nice big rooms, baths, linen sheets, feather pillows, a wonderful sitting room downstairs for all. We stayed in quite a number of guest houses and B & B's while in the UK--this had the best and more beautiful breakfast--hands down! Off the beaten... More

This was our first stop after flying into Scotland and after flight, driving through rain, and long day we were immediately welcomed sweetly by Heather, shown our room, and settled in to what was an thoroughly pleasant stay. She helped arrange a pick up from a local restaurant we had booked ourselves for dinner, and we found our room facing... More

Really enjoyed a two night stay. Dalshian is a lovely place to stay only a couple of minutes drive from the centre of Pitlochry. Loved the beautiful grounds that this splendid looking building is set in. Warmly welcomed upon arrival by our host and given some useful tourist information for the surrounding area. Slept like a baby in the comfortable... More

I would come back for the breakfasts alone. The selection at the buffet is outstanding ,the cooked breakfast delicious and the preserves tempted me to eat far more toast than I should have done. After a long drive [from Thurso] we were anxious for a good night's sleep and thought that central Pitlochry might be rather noisy on a Saturday... More
