Everything was first class in this B&B. Graham is a wonderful host with good tips, attention to needs and a sense of humour. The garden is lovely and the location is very nice, just outside of the main part of town. They request your breakfast order the night before and cater to your needs. Room 3 upstairs was lovely, large... More

We had a lovely 5 nights stay in July revisiting old haunts and the Claymore proved to be a wonderful base. The hosts were genial and attentive, any minor issues were dealt with immediately and we would not hesitate to recommend this place to stay. Our rooms were large and airy and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was plentiful and we... More

The Claymore is located just a stone throw from the high street, but away from the hustle and bustle near the rail station. The room, though not big, has everything you need. The bathroom is newly refurbished, bright and light. Comfortable bed; clean sheets. We requested a quiet room and were given a unit on the upper floor facing the... More

The owners were friendly cheerful and efficient. Our room although not the largest in the property was spacious enough, decorated attractively and very clean. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The shower room was large in comparison to other places we have stayed and was very modern. Breakfast was served in the conservatory which overlooks the beautiful garden and it... More

This is a real gem of a B & B just off the A9 in Pitlochry. Their rooms are generously proportioned and well furnished and the breakfast is delightful. We would willing come here again if we were in the area again. It is close to the town and has ample parking.

An excellent B&B with a showpiece front garden. Of particular note is the breakfast room - a huge conservatory overlooking the garden - which is a pleasure to sit in even if it's raining! Breakfasts were very good indeed, with an extensive choice. Our room was a bit small, but everything was very well organised and we were made to... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a standard room at the Claymore. The B&B was just a short walk to the train station and town - no car needed. Bed was comfortable, and we had a nice view of the hills and mountains from our room. Breakfast was fantastic. Generous portions, and lots of options if the standard... More
