Visited here for a 2 night weekend stay. Staff are great, nice wee pub attached and some nice ales. The food was fine, I think a lot is reheated in the micro but in the main tasty. The hotel is a little tired with some areas that have obviously been renovated but there was a slight musky smell in the... More

This was a stop for me on a cycling trip. We arrived soaked to the skin after our descent from Drumochter Pass, to a warm welcome, and an excellent bath (large, hot and quickly filled). The rooms are large and comfortably furnished, and the ensuite is also spacious, carpeted (so warmer-feeling) and well equipped. The public areas are really quite... More

This beautiful old hotel was very close to Blair Castle. We were on the third floor with lovely views over the countryside. The rooms were really quaint with plenty of room. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious, especially the Cullen Skink soup! The service was prompt and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed for 2 nights a Thursday and Friday and enjoyed our day. The weather was great and the hotel is very "Scottish". The room was small, even though it was the bigger room and a bit dated, but fine none the less. The restaurant is very very good, we dined there the first night, using the hotel bar for... More

Pet-friendly-and it really was! Dog allowed in all except formal dining room. Booked bed+breakfast-lovely breakfast and plenty of choice. The Bothy Bar, part of the hotel, allowed dogs and had a good selection of startes, mains and desserts-husband recommends Beef Daube melts in the mouth. I recommend Toffee Ice Cream??? Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, despite... More

Ate here with my family last night. The menu selection was good, with some interesting choices. Good children's menu too, with good portion sizes. However, the service from the staff was quite poor. Went to order at the bar and asked if I could not have mushy peas with the fish and choose a different vegetable - was told they... More

Atholl Arms Hotel is situated in the heart of the Grampian Mountains almost adjacent to the entrance to famous Blair Castle. This is a traditional Scottish highland hotel that offers thirty-one bedrooms, all differently decorated (with lots of tartan). The breakfasts are excellent and there is a large choice. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant. However, that's where the... More

This lovely country hotel is situated close to the main highway and on the brink of the Scottish Highlands. Decorated in style, so you have the feeling of visiting an old Scottish family home or estate. The rooms are all differently decorated, but you will always find something with tartan. The bathrooms are a bit outdated, but everything is clean... More

The hotel is surrounded by stunning scenery & is in a pleasant small village. Staff made us very welcome, we had a good sized room with en suite. The meals in the Baronial Dining Hall were superb - many being Scottish specials. There is no lift and decor is traditional, friendly Scottish, not cold & clinical like many modern hotels.... More
