Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday and had a great time. It's right in the heart of the village, next to the train station and the working watermill. The hotel is impressive outside and in. There is a roaring fire when you go in and we stayed in room 402 which was large with a huge bay window... More

Just back from a break away at this hotel, our usual for hubbys birthday. Great afternoon tea with prosceco included. Lovely highland hotel for a short break, rooms are always spotless and tartan themed, wonderful breakfast with big choice served in the baronial hall. All the staff very helpful with a special mention for Caroline with her multi tasking, reception,... More

We visited Blair Atholl yesterday and popped into this hotel. Caroline on the reception and her Hubby (The Chef) are lovely people. Great hotel, worth a visit. Blair Atholl is a lovely place with beautiful views.

Just back from a lovely overnight stay with afternoon tea at this quaint hotel. Both the food and service were very good. An added bonus for us was that we were able to take our dog. I would recommend paying a visit to the Falls of Bruar just a few miles away from hotel. What a beautiful part of the... More

Lovely place and great location, bedrooms are a bit past it. Bathrooms seriously in need of updating. But I slept well, the bar is fine and comfy, atmosphere is good. Breakfast is perfect in an amazing baronial hall.

A Victorian building next to the railway station, and close to Blair Castle, The Atholl Arms has a truly magnificent baronial hall as its dining room where good food is served with quick and friendly service. Most people eat in the bar-virtually the same price, and no atmosphere! We had a 3-bedded family room, which was quite adequate. Breakfast was... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night on business in area, the hotel is a nice historic building with log fires and lots of old world charm.Food in the bar is good standard despite earlier reports, had onion soup and haggis, neeps and tatties and nice it was, room was a bit small but comfortable bed and everything worked ok. While the fabric and furnishings in this establishment are as tired as one might expect of an hotel of this style and age, we were comfortable and felt cossetted by the very friendly and helpful staff. The dining room is beautiful and the Bothy bar is cosy and welcoming. We hope to visit again.

We had a lovely 2 night break over Easter, the lady that checked us in on Friday night and out again on Sunday morning was very pleasant indeed. We were in a "larger room" on 2nd floor, good size room, comfortable bed only downside on the 2nd night the rooms were noisier (could hear the loo next door being flushed)... More
