Well located on the edge of the town centre. Very clean throughout with a comfortable bedroom. Hotel does bed and breakfast only. Breakfast selection was good and the hot breakfast first class. Very friendly staff with a family feel

Spent one night at this hotel with my partner. For the price we paid for the room we were disappointed. The room we got was very old fashioned and didn't appear to be clean. The cups that were in the room for us to make ourselves a cup of tea were dirty and still had lip stains on them. The... More

The Pitlochry is a small & beautiful twon. it's located 10 minute drive from Blair Athol Castel and the Queen's view. The Craigvarack hotel is a family hotel located 2 minute drive from the city center. the rooms are simple but yet cosy and very clean. The hotel stuff are very nice and will be happy to help and reply... More

Traveling with a group of college students from East TN, we stopped here on our way from the Orkney Islands down the coast to Edinburgh. This entire night in this gorgeous town was the warmest and most beautiful day we had on our three week trip. Everything was in full bloom, vibrant, and aromatic. The hotel was nice and the... More

Had a long drive to Skye from Edinburgh hence decided to stopover in Pitlochry. Although not near the top of the list Cragvrack exceeded my expectations in all aspects. We had a room for four and although it was slightly small, it was clean and cosy. All the basic amenities - bathroom, bed, tea-making facilities were all provided and we... More

Staying at this hotel for three nights, friendly welcome on arrival, we were in a room on first floor, not a bad size of room, double bed, couch, and usual bedroom furniture, pleasant enough view, shower no bath, large flat screen TV. Breakfast was lovely, porridge was almost to hot to eat, nicely seasoned and the full Scottish breakfast was... More

We stayed here for a long weekend whilst skiing at Glenshee. This is about an hours drive away from the hotel. Has a car park round the back which is great although can tend to fill up if arriving late. The room was clean however it was very small. Even for a short person like me it was a little... More

We booked this hotel at last minute after we decided to stay another night in Pitlochry. When I saw our room I wasn't too keen. It was quite basic (which I don't mind) but definetly in need of some updating or decorating. Bathroom quite worn and tired looking. However the rest of the hotel was nice and the breakfast was... This is a fair hotel with small rooms. Pros: Location a bit far, but still in walking distance from main street. Good parking. Good breakfast. Rooms clean and functional. So-So: Lounge and bar are OK, but not as nice as some others. Cons: While they are clean and functional, the rooms are small. Head knocker for tall guys in middle... More

Booked this hotel for a quiet night away with my husband. It was a halfway stop on our route and looked perfect. Very reasonable price. Looked clean and had everything we required. However, check in is until 9pm. We would be travelling so would have to check in later than this (never had a problem with any other hotel if... More
