We have stayed for 4 nights and had just a fantastic stay there. Room was the right size and very clean and cosy. Very helpful and friendly staff.Free high speed internet. The food was really delicious - great combinations, fantastic sauces, big choice for breakfast. Nice and peaceful place, friendly atmosphere, good laugh in the bar in the evening. There... more

Overall our stay was good, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean if a bit too warm. The walls are paper thin so if like us you were unlucky enough to be in a room next door to someone who liked their TV loud you might not have the most relaxing stay, thankfully we were out most of... more

Great little hotel, well run with friendly staff and good food. Great location to explore the area, on site parking, real ale in the bar and fine selection of whisky. On a hill side (west Moulin Rd) about 500 mtrs from the town. It may not suit those unable to walk uphill any distance (ok if you have a car)... more

We had a wonderful week at the Craigvrack, we were lucky that the weather was fine, as we could take full advantage of the great views from the terrace. We have stayed in Pitlochry before but this hotel was a real find as the food was brilliant, staff friendly and a lovely wee bar too!! Other hotels in this area... more

My wife and I spent one night 8th/9th November 08. Everything was excellent, except the weather, room was excellent, new shower unit, small flat screen tv,tea and coffee making facilities in the room, could not fault it and all at a very reasonable price. All the staff, without exception, were friendly and very helpful, would highly recommend it. Ellis and Irene Shand Aberdeen more

We recently stayed in Pitlochry for one night in order to see the Enchanted Forest. We ended up at the Craigvrack after our original booking at another hotel had to be changed due to building works. I was a little concerned at first about the walk up the hill with two young children but actually it wasn't far and there... more

Before we booked we checked the Trip advisor reviews, But this hotel has recently been taken over and we found ourselves in unchartered waters. We have enjoyed many holidays in Scotland and we have made some wonderful scottish freinds. We always choose family owned hotels or guesthouses because our girls thrive in a family atmosphere and it is important that... more

Small but nice hotel in an ideal setting - although for elderly or infirm residents the uphill walk from the town centre to the hotel should be borne in mind. The distance is roughy 400 to 500 metres from Pitlochrie main street. Stayed for three nights on half-board basis. Food was excellent. Bedroom was very small but adequate. Nice litlle... more
