On our first trip to Blair Atholl we were blessed to find this wonderful B&B for our four-night stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the ensuite baths are sparkling! The views outside the windows are so amazing that I now use a photo of my room view as my cell phone wallpaper! We had two rooms and both had... more

We have just returned from a three-night stay at the Dalgreine Guest House in Blair Atholl. What a wonderful trip! We were so lucky to find this place. Colin and Lena bent over backwards to help us out, even picking us up from the sleeper train at 6.45 in the morning! So very kind. We enjoyed their chat and their... more

Having returned from a 3 night break at this excellent B&B we felt we must add our praises to previous positive comments. The Dalgreine is a lovely home, located in a quiet position within the village of Blair Atholl, in the midst of spectacular scenery. The room itself was fresh and nicely decorated, immaculately clean, with a comfy, cosy bed... more

Colin and Lena make you very welcome, the minute they open the door. Our room ( No.2) had a king size bed en suite, and was very tastfully furnished. As vegetarians, we were well catered for at breakfast having a choice of a cooked breakfast, continental breakfast ( croissants, muffins, bagels etc) fruit AND cheese and oatcakes, toast etc You... more

Well we were back once again at Dalgreine for a few days this week and surely the true test of the of what it takes to be the best Guest House in Scotland, is consistency of delivery of service. Without question the owners, Lena and Colin Robertson, have achieved that . They are truly among the best hosts in the... more

We have just spent 3 days at the Dalgreine and came away so very impressed with the whole stay. We loved the breakfasts, which were freshly cooked to order and accompanied by fresh coffee, toast and a range of local, homemade preserves. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were to die for! On Friday evening we went for a picnic... more

We've stayed at B&Bs and guest houses the length and breadth of Britain over the past fifteen years, but have never stayed at one as fantastic as this! From the enormous fluffy towels, to the extensive DVD library, everything was perfect! There were even hot chocolate sachets and yummy biscuits in the hospitality tray. Relaxing by the log fire as... more

Colin and Lena certainly make you feel welcome in their beautiful home. Step into the welcoming lounge and you'll be introduced to other guests, and have a mug of something hot in one hand and delicious shortbread in your other within seconds. We loved the little extras including toiletries and tasty biccies in the rooms. more

We stayed last weekend having left Edinburgh due to over-priced hotels (rugby related). A warm welcome and room was as we expected albeit a little tight for space once a cot and sofa-bed were in place (as expected). Everything was very clean ( a major issue for both of us when staying in guest houses) and a big bathroom opposite... more

From the phonecall to book to checkout the service and quality of this B&B was excellent. Dalgrenie is situated 1 mile off the main A9 road in Blair Atholl and approx 7 miles from Pitlochry. The rooms are of a very high standard with all mod cons and dvd player in room, selection of dvd's, wifi access, ensuite rooms FAB!... more
