Absolutely fantastic B&B. I have stayed in other Hotels in Pitlochry and this is definitely the best. The room was clean, the food for breakfast was first class. The owner was very nice and could not have been more helpful. It is certainly value for money....

With off street parking in a very convenient situation, Carra Beag is a great find. Clean, comfortable, if a little small (think boutique) bedroom. Excellent, filling breakfast kept us going beyond lunchtime. Richard is an attentive, friendly host, and even provides a decanter of port and dark chocolate each evening in the lounge. Given the uniformity of most of the... More

We stayed here for one night and it didn't disappoint. The Victorian house was really nicely decorated with lots of quirky little features such as an old typewriter and a vintage suitcase. The decor was really inspiring and worked well with the original features of the house. We were lucky enough to stay in the room with the four poster... More

The Carra Beag guesthouse was traditional in decor, comfortable (very warm!) and we were well looked after by the family who run it. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and friendly place to stay to see this lovely part of the UK.

Stayed here for 1 night but wished it could have been more. From the moment we where greeted at the front door by Richard to the moment we left. Nothing was too much trouble. On arrival we booked in and taken up too our rooms. The room we stayed in was the 4 poster room and the views were across... More

Just returned home after a great 3 night break. Excellent location for festival theatre and walking in the local area. Very clean and comfy room, excellent breakfasts and nothing too much trouble for the owners Richard and Sally, despite us spilling an item or two all on the breakfast table. Looking forward to returning next year.

stayed here over night while visiting Pitlochry for the Enchanted forest. First impressions were great, lovely views from the hotel due to its location off the main streets, but with a short cut to the main street through the gardens. Greeted at the door with a lovely warm welcome and shown straight up to our room, which was a lovely... More

Lovely detached house, with nice garden and grounds, looking down onto the main street in Pitlochry. I was on a weekend away with my partner and we enjoyed it. Rich, the owner was friendly and helpful too. I would def recommend it. Kieran

I have rated this B&B "very good", even though it is in need of a little modernisation as Richard, the owner extended a very warm welcome to me (and to everyone else) and I know that he and his wife plan to update it eventually. I stayed on my own and had a cosy single room with small (but more... More

The owner was very attentive and personable. Rooms were of a decent size but we couldn't get the towel bar to work. Floors squeaked a bit and our room had a dark closet that needed a door (spooky walking past it at night). Otherwise it was up to spec.

Hi We are really glad you enjoyed your stay. The house was built nearly 150 years ago and we are happy to keep the rooms as characterful as we can which can create little areas of a somewhat "spooky feel" Did you discover the hidden light to light up the closet? More
