We had prebooked for two nights and this was - sorry - the worst B&B on our trip this year. Breakfast was absolutely ok, but you should not be late otherwise fruits may be eaten up. Our room no. 8 was really small, two old fashioned beds and a mini TV. Taking a shower was a horror. Either the water... more

We started a Highland tour from Pitlochry and Carra Beag was the first place we stayed in. We stayed 2 nights in a double en-suite room and had a really great time. Carra Beag is a lovely old house furnished in a homely way. The room was spacious and had great views. The house is situated close to the town... more

An excellent place to stay. Very friendly and made to feel extremely welcome. We stayed in a room at the front of the house, which has lovely views. The room had everything we needed, it was very comforting and warm although going from the warmth of the room to the cold shower room was abit of a wakener first thing... more

I'd strongly recommend you to stay at Carra Beqg Guest House. We liked it so much, the room was really nice, the breakfast was fantastic and they really facilitated us our stay there; we got there a little late at night because of the trains timetables and had no problem to do the check in. The place is really beautiful... more

We stayed at this Guesthouse last week and enjoyed our stay. We arrived by sleeper train (a good way of getting to Pitlochry from London) and were able to check in before 9 am and two days later to leave our luggage in the lounge until we left for the 10 pm sleeper. Fortunately, it was a quiet time of... more

I have stayed in a number of Bed and Breakfasts in the UK and the quality has varied greatly from place to place including some that are just downright grotty. This guest house is not one of them! Yes, it is old fashioned, yes it has old items scattered around, but these are to give it character, and you know... more

Thank you Helen and Brian! We have just returned from our visit to Pitlochry where we stayed at Carra Beag. We have never stayed in such a friendly place - the hosts were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. We had our 18 month old son with us and nothing troubled the hosts or the staff - they went... more

We reserved a twin room shared bath & a family room with ensuite bath. It was nice to have a private off-street parking area. The staff & owners were very friendly & helpful. Our family room was quite small with an even smaller bathroom (shower & w/c; sink was in the bedroom). Breakfast was very good & served in a... more
