My husband, his family and I had a really nice stay at Cuil-an-Daraich. The guest house was a 2-minute drive into Pitlochry which sits on truly stunning loches, rolling mountains and all good that is Scotland. The owner of the guest house was very kind and she makes a great Scottish breakfast. The rooms were simple and clean and the... more

I stayed here for two nights in September and thought it was a great little place. I chose it from recommendations on tripadvisor and partially because it used to be the old poor house. I was doing some ancestry research in the area and had a fanciful idea that some of my ancestors might have been admitted! It's a clean... more

I stayed with Rachael and her family with my 10 year old daughter, for a week. Being a single parent, I found Rachael's family friendly and relaxed attitude very welcoming and she could not do enough for us - often going out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The area is stunning -... more

Only stayed an overnight as we were heading north, wish we could have stayed longer! We had our little dog with us and it was no problem, we were made most welcome. Rooms are very spacious and well furnished with great views. more

We stayed in the Cuil-an-Daraich Guest House for 5 nights. When we got there, the building on the outside looked very old and full of history. Inside was very modern-looking and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The location was a bit out of the way of shops/pubs etc. Would not be able to walk anywhere. But the location was beautiful,... more

It's a big B&B just outside Logierait. It has a severe appearance and at the beginning it looks quite uneasy. The rooms could be cleaner. On the contrary, the masters are very kind and the breakfast room, with a bow-window facing over the river, is very pleasant. more

This lovely friendly guesthouse is located on the outskirts of Logierait, a little village a few miles from Pitlochry. It was originally a poorhouse but is thankfully a cheerier place these days. The room we stayed in was lovely and spacious, with comfy beds and plenty of room to put our stuff. Breakfast was served in a really nice room... more

We only stayed with Rachael for a night but we had a lovely time. The rooms are very spacious and well furnished. If you're travelling by motorbike (as we did) this place is ideal. You can safely store your bikes off-street behind the guest house. The car park has a gravel surface but is very solid - we had no... more

Visited Cuil-an-Daraich in the summer of 2005 and returned again in January 06. Wonderful location, with outstanding views from the windows, comfortable beds, great food and lovely people. Rachael and Tony treat you like family and you don't want to leave! more
