Stayed here for a night - It should have been longer but we left early. The bedrooms were dark and cleaned to an average atandard - there was a shower over the bath but no screen or curtain, there was also a carpet in the bathroom making it very difficult to keep clean and dry !The reception was a joke -... more

Stayed here with my wife over the bank holiday weekend. The reception received from the owner / manager (?) was that we were more of an intrusion than guests. We were advised on arrival that breakfast would be served between 8 and 9.30a.m. On the first... more

Rip off! The "kettle ale" is just Tetley’s with a different label on the tap. The food is way overpriced and the facilities a disgrace. I really feel for the poor aussie/kiwi backpackers who work here as the owner/manager is a complete bas@#$d. There are plenty of great places to eat in pitlochry, one of the great towns in scotland.... more

We had the best steaks here, at a reasonable price. We find the old mill to have a really nice laid back amosphere and visit every time we are coming down the a9 from friends in inverness. We find the prices comparable to other places which are food orientated. more

My wife and I were returning from a few, enjoyable, days spent in Inverness and decided to break our journey at Pitlochry for a cup of coffee and a wander along the shops. We stopped at the Old Mill Inn, a pub just off Pitlochry's main street and ordered two cups of coffee and a glass of lemonade and lime.... more
