Cuil an Duin is a lovely place to stay. Sally and David know how to welcome a guest. Me and my dad stayed in one of the cottages, which was great with comfortable rooms. I've also seen the B&B rooms, WOW! Breakfast was great and I've never seen more squirrels in one day as I've seen here. The house has... More

Wonderful friendly place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was very comfortable and well decorated. Plenty of hot water and the breakfast was a positive feast! We cannot wait to return - well done!

I recently visited Pitlochry and discovered a newly renovated B&B, Cuil-an-Duin Country House. Having travelled from Edinburgh, my two friends and I were thrilled to be at the B&B in less than two hours. The B&B is located in a fabulous position, nearby Blair Athol, Dunkeld and Pitlochry. From the moment we arrived, David and Sally (the hosts) were extremely... More

Cuil an Duin is a real gem. Excellent hosts very comfortable room and wonderful breakfasts. The house, which has been beautifully restored, is in an idyllic setting in the woods with red squirrels as near neighbours. It is close to Pitlochry with good restaurants nearby. We recommend it very highly.

Cuil an Duin was a delight. Very friendly, bed very comfortable and excellent breakfast, even meeting the chickens that laid the eggs. David even stayed up till midnight to welcome us with carrot cake and tea as we had arrived on a late flight into Edinburg. Couldn't recommend enough!

My wife and I had a great one-night stay. Sally and David were great hosts, greeting us with a cuppa and freshly made scones. The house has been lovingly, classily decorated and avoids lots of the twee touches that besmirch many Scottish B&Bs. And then there is the setting - nestled in woods teaming with wildlife. Within two minutes of... More

We recently stayed at Cuil-an-Duin and loved everything from our sumptuous ensuite bedroom (Room One); the elegant reception rooms (which give a flavour of its history as part of the Blair Atholl estate); the expansive wildlife filled grounds; its peaceful location in the River Tay valley near Pitlochry (renouned for its superb theatre); to the warm welcome from new owners... I had the pleasure of a wonderful one night stay last week in this reopened beautiful new boutique B&B - it's hidden in a forest right beside the A9 so is very easy to get to.
