I have just returned from a one night stay in this lovely hotel. Despite having no prior knowledge of our booking (it was not forwarded from the booking website), it was no problem getting our room. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated, with many original features remaining. Our room was spacious with a 4-poster bed, and had breathtaking views over the local countryside. The complimentary whisky and tea and coffee making facilities were a most welcome extra!

We chose to have dinner in the hotel, and were both really pleased with the decision to do so. The menu changes on a daily basis, and contains 2 choices for each course. Special diets can easily be catered for if requested.

The best part of our stay was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much problem, and we were made to feel like royalty throughout our stay!

All in all I cannot fault the hotel at all, and cannot wait to go back in the future!
