We were reallocated to this hotel from the Scotlands in Pitlochry (there was a problem with the room - Aye RIGHT -overbooked more like). Anyway it turned out to be a very nice hotel. It was built in 1935 and has many gothic like features and the views from the dinning room were great. It was comfy to just relax... more

We've stayed in this hotel twice and we love it. The main old house is beautiful, very peaceful, great atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly. I can oly talk about the rooms where we've stayed and those are the 4 posted bed rooms, which are just superb, very spacious and comfy. It seems they have redecorated the rooms,... more

Passing through Pitlochry we tried to find some budget accommodation for just one night. Since it was late July we knew it wouldn’t be easy and after trying several B&Bs we finally decided to splurge and managed to find a room at the Best Western Hotel Dundarach. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the standard of the hotel. Our room... more

We had initially booked accommodation to stay at the Fishers hotel however due to an overbooking we were accommodated at the Dundarach hotel instead. We feel we landed on our feet. The hotel was very peaceful and the accommodation pleasant. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the staff polite and efficient. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel... more

Having travelled round Britain on business and pleasure I can honestly say this hotel is one of the best. Its not a gleneagles, but a perfect example of a medium size, well run hotel. Staff are very obliging. We had a perfect dinner of scallops, sea bass and creme brulee. I took a couple of pics for you to see.... more

We came back, more of us, hotel remains most excellent. Good weather in the highlands of Scotland. Same staff and proprietors here in this cute piece of scottish architectural history. Same great breakfasts, same delicious dinners with fine wines. Dundarach is handy for town centre and the evening excitement. more

Susan and I stayed here, at the Dundarach Hotel during September and were pleasantly satisfied with all aspects of the visit. The restaurant food, in particular was perfect. Good service staff, warm atmosphere and jumbo twin beds. Nice friendly guests too. We made friends with Jock and Eleanor, from Edinburgh, if they read this please get in touch. more

Stayed with a friend for 4 nights and can highly recommend this hotel. My room was in the annexe and was very comfortable and spacious. Bed was a little hard (but some people may prefer this). Decent bathroom with new towels. Room very quiet and peaceful. All of the amenities you would expect including internet service. Breakfast was plentiful with... more

We were at Dundarach for 4 nights, April 20th 08, it was warm, cosy, the food was excellent, the staff were polite and attentive. They did a birthday song for us. It was sunny all week. Lovely spot in Scotland more
