Stayed here last Thursday with family whilst attending Pitlochry Festival Theatre performance. The pre-theatre dinner was excellent and quickly served, and we had our coffee/tea on return from the theatre. I had a room in the 'new wing' - which looks like it had been built some 30 years ago, and the bathroom tiling etc reflected this. The only complaint... More

I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful stay here. After we booked, apparently the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had proper beds for our family. As a family of four, we were having trouble booking a room that could house all of us. Dundarach made it happen! :-) Also the breakfast the... More

We stayed one night here to go to the Enchanted Forest, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is just lovely, very old fashioned with a wonderful cosy feel. The lounge is very comfortable with beautiful views. We had a family room which was clean and comfy, stocked with nice toiletries and tea, coffee etc. The breakfast was enjoyable... More

Fantastic location, beautiful views, great service, delicious breakfast, good value & decent rooms. Definitely recommend and will return. **Only downfall for is was that the bar drinks were well over priced!

We stayed two nights in the main house while visiting the area one weekend. Our room was a superior and it was very nice with great views over the garden and surrounding countryside. The décor in the dining room and bar is dated with painted cornices which are not pretty to look at but who stares at the ceiling anyway.... More

If I could give a 3.5 I would, but what can you do? The service was wonderful, very friendly indeed, especially since I locked myself out twice in one evening. The bed was quite comfortable in my opinion but in my younger brother's single bed there was sand under the duvet. How that happened I don't know and I don't... More

Stayed here overnight with my family mainly to visit the Enchanted Forest. We were not in the main building but one right next to it. The hotel which had beautiful views was really lovely and very Scottish which was so nice. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and there was no noise so we all enjoyed a good nights... Stayed here for a weekend mainly to go to the enchanted forest. We were very disappointed not to stay in the actual hotel, almost felt as if we were penalised for having children with us. We were kept awake at night because of noisy people in the room above us, and the room was really too warm. On the plus... More

Pitlochry should be proud of the Dundarach Hotel. Located on the outskirts of town, with a driveway just before you go under the railway bridge, this is a hidden gem of a hotel with spacious bedrooms, well equipped, and a five-star restaurant for breakfast and a 4-course dinner (pre-theatre if required) of a very high standard, featuring local produce. And... More
