We had a lovely stay here, very friendly staff, good breakfast menu (always important!). Great location, an easy walk to the High Street where everything is. A good meal was had a the pub that brews its own beer at hte top of the street- a nice 10 min walk, great atmosphere, quaint and friendly. More

Jim could not have been a kinder or more considerate host, and Wellwood House is a perfect, unspoiled Victorian dream. We decided to forego an en-suite because the 'lovely old Victorian bathroom' sounded so attractive - and it was! Absolutely delicious breakfast - spoiled for choice - and our normally fussy four-year-old daughter kept going back for more. More
