It was the first time I had stayed in a shared room and it was great. The antipodean staff were very helpful. The shared areas were clean, the bathrooms ESPECIALLY and there was plenty of the stuff you want - toilet paper, soap, plates, cutlery etc. There was a good mix of internationa guests and all of the people there... more

stayed at the backpackers hotel for a few nights in may. my partner and i liked it very much: the staff were friendly, it was right downtown and a short walk from the grocery store, and it had a nice "vibe" and wasn't too noisy. the only "cons" are that it some of the rooms are a bit old and... more
