Have just returned from Pitlochry and must comment on the superb food at Fishers Hotel. We called in for afternoon tea and to say the food was fantastic would be an understatement. We had the most delicious sandwiches, both white and wholemeal bread, scones with jam and cream, cakes and homemade biscuits. The presentation was absolutely first class and the... More

We arrived on weds ,soaked to the skin. On arrival the receptionist said that since we came through the dining room we knew where it was, gave us our room 205, and told us it was near the lift. NOT THE WELCOME WE EXPECTED. Since we don't drink, would it not be a good idea to offer a soft drink... More

Have visited Pitlochry many times but this was our first stay at Fisher's. Excellent situation, close to all amenities. Hotel itself is clean and welcoming - the offer of a free welcome drink at reception is a nice touch. Room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was big enough to hold a ceilidh. Breakfast was excellent with a wide... More

Stayed at Fishers as part of a coach group. It is in a very convenient location right in the town centre. As an older hotel rooms vary in shape and size. Ours was on the ground floor overlooking a central courtyard garden which made for a very pleasant outlook. The room eas somewhat dated however, with gaudy floral wallpaper on... More

This hotel has potential to be the wonderful hotel it once was over a hundred years ago. Reception staff were very welcoming and our room (number 320) overlooked the lovely garden. Breakfast was a let down - greasy and not appealing at all.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Fishers and will be our last for sure. Not having been for a few years and our original booking at another Pitlochary hotel cancelled we opted for Fishers. On arrival you couldn't move as there was a wedding taking place. With guests congregating at the enterence and lobby areas. We asked... More

Dear trayleiper, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Fisher's Hotel. I am sorry that elements of your stay fell short of what you rightly expect. I have shared your review with my management team so we have an opportunity to learn from it. It is not acceptable for housekeeping to hoover so early, again... More

Stayed here for one night on a dinner bed and breakfast deal. Car parking at the hotel is limited and we could not get parked. We had to park in a public car park 5 minutes walk from the hotel, not ideal in the rain and if you had a lot of luggage to carry. You also have to pay... More

waiting staff very efficient, after first night we where moved from the "ball room" to the main dining room which left us very cramped, especially after 3 coaches in the small space. tables not very big if your tall, you can't fit under them. food was excellent, breakfast good but could have been warmer. bedrooms very clean and well maintained... We booked into the Fishers in Friday afternoon. It was very busy, there was a wedding on but it was fine. The room was a bit dated, bathroom needed major work done on it. Bar prices were good. Food in restaurant was fine. Breakfast good. Limited parking at rear. We booked a deal, would not have paid full price.
