Booked at the last minute for a one-night stay to meet up with friends visiting Pitlochry from the USA. Good guest parking (no extra charge for this - which I have to say was a pleasant surprise). Friendly, relaxed check-in was followed by the offer of a complimentary dram of a nice single malt whisky. As others have commented, the... More

The rooms were comfortable enough, with the bathrooms being well insulated so that you couldn't hear your loved ones going about their business in there. The color scheme was questionable, with mismatching shades of green in the carpet, walls, and bedding, but this didn't detract from the comfort of the room. It was a pleasant hotel and bar to have... A friend booked this hotel, so we had little input on its selection or price negotiation. Firstly we were not made welcome on arrival, then the room, 222, was pretty awful being cramped, dated, bland and smelling of damp. The arrival drink did little to appease our opinion of the room. Others of our group had acceptable rooms and in... More

My wife and I and my mother-in-law spent one night here. We had very nice rooms overlooking the gardens. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were of a good standard and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The only criticism my wife and I had was that we are used to a 5' double bed but this was only a... More

This hotel has almost everything going for it except for the provision of water in the showers. On arrival, after a long journey the shower in room 316 was scalding with no means of regulation. The duty manager gave me a key to a larger room but without an actual apology and I had to move all my unpacked luggage... More

Good central location. We were staying on the 3rd floor overlooking the road , had a large room which was ok clean and tidy. The noise from the road didnt bother us but we were out quite late and the street noise could be heard so if your a light sleeper i would request a garden view. Staff friendly, breakfast... More

The hotel room was ridiculously small for a double room. Small "double" bed with only one blanket not suitable for a good night's sleep for two persons. Hot water seems to be scarce in this part of Scotland. Perhaps the warning signs in the bathroom should be reconsidered (Caution cold water instead of Caution hot water). Staff reacted unfriendly to... More

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fisher's Hotel, Pitlochry for a long weekend in May 2015. On arrival we were offered a wee whisky whilst at reception, The staff were very friendly without being "in your face" and always with a smile. The Room was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a good view over... More

I have stayed in this Hotel a number of times but never written a review! Pitlochry is great for a weekend break, and likewise the Fishers Hotel always provides a good base. Some of the rooms do need an upgrade, but having said that we have always been comfortable in our room, always clean, with good facilities. Some of the... More
