This is an excellent B&B, the room was clean, had an en-suite and an LCD telly (a joy after a day of walking up tall things). Tony and Irene are very welcoming and know the local area well. On my first night they directed me to an ace pub/restaurant where all meals were eaten from there on in. All washed... more

We stayed at the Dunmurray for two nights in September in the Stewart Room. It is a wonderful B&B. Tony and Irene are great hosts and the entire stay was delightful. From the nicely landscaped back yard to the tasteful decorating throughout the B&B, it is adorable. Our room was spotless and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and there... more

We only stayed one night at Dunmurray Lodge but it was an excellent stopover on our way home from a week of touring, and just as good as accommodation that we had in other places costing almost twice as much. First impressions were excellent as we approached the house through the beautifully maintained garden, full of late summer colour. The... more

We agree with the previous comments. We stayed in the Murray Suite (2 rooms and a bathroom) : nice, comfortable and clean. Wonderful choice (and quality) for breakfast. Tony and Irene are very welcoming. more

This was the first time that we had ever stayed in a B&B and Dunmurray was the first of 5 that we had booked for our holiday. Email contact was quick and you felt that they could not do enough for you. 4 stars for Dunmurray Lodge are not enough when I think of the other ones that we stayed... more

We were disappointed that Bienn Bhracaigh couldn't find room for us this new year, but in recommending Dunmurray Lodge, we came up with another gem. What is it about Pitlochry and its B&Bs- we can't seem to go wrong in this town. This is yet another great find. Superb bedroom - thanks to Tony and Irene for the wee dram... more

Can't really add more than the previous comments, apart from the fact that no-one has mentioned the Moulin Inn yet. Just a short walk (10-15 mins) up the hill from Dunmurray Lodge, it's a really good pub which brews its own beer, and does good food. Also, the problem one reviewer had with the shower could have been solved with... more

Wholeheartedly agree with the previous review. We also stayed in the Stewart room which was very cosy and comfortable, perfect for our stay. The shower however was fine so I can only assume that the owners fixed it since the previous review? Both flow and temperature were perfect. The breakfast was also varied and a great start to our day.... more
