We had an overnight stay for the enchanted forest and the b and b was a very pleasant experience. Firstly the guests were so welcoming and helpful- upgraded us because the bigger room was available, allowed us to use parking beyond our stay and were extremely attentive. The location was perfect and the house itself was beautiful and immaculate. Would... More

Pitlochry what a lovely place this was, we came off the A9 and found this busy little town, plenty of good decent shops and we were surprised with how busy it was, take that as a good thing as after being up the Munroes for a week and not seeing anyone apart from the odd walker it was good. We... More

Dunmurray Lodge is a really welcoming, friendly and relaxing B&B. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and ideally placed for the town. We stayed in the Murray room, and our two children stayed in the twin room next door, with the interconnecting door opened in between. Breakfast is well-organised, pick your slot and menu the evening before, so you don't have to... More

The best thing was the warm and inviting welcome we got from both Lorraine and Mike our hosts. Our room,’ Murray’, was very spacious with every facility you would expect. No detail has been missed, even down to the quality toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean. Quality is clearly the hallmark of this house and the owners couldn't do enough to... More

Wow, what can a person say, Lorraine and her husband Mike were so wonderful . Traveling in Scotland, we came across the Dunmurray Lodge by chance, and later in the evening. We were so thrilled with Lorraine and family that we just wanted others to know what wonderful hosts they are. Friendly, nice, and helpful. We are from Orlando Florida,... More

just returned today from a long weekend in Pitlochry and what a beautiful place to stay. Lorraine and Mike are wonderful warm friendly hosts and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is wonderful with lots of choice and the best porridge I have tasted. It was lovely having a guest sitting room to sit in. We will be back... More

Our first trip to Scotland and the first place we visited was Pitlochry. Coming from the U.S., it's scary booking an overseas B&B because you never know what you'll get. Dunmurray Lodge was absolutely wonderful. Nice clean roomy rooms. Outstanding breakfast and great hosts. Lorraine and Mike made us feel welcome and at home. The bed was very comfortable. Location... We stayed here for 2 nights with friends from the US. The house is in a great location for walking into Pitlochry, close to the town but in a quiet street with safe off road parking. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished, the beds very comfortable. Lorraine and Mike were wonderful hosts - there when we needed them... More

What a gorgeous guest house ! It's up quite a steep brae but still within very easy walking distance of the centre of Pitlochry. Lorraine and Mike are both lovely people and were keen to make us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they're truly a credit to the hospitality trade and Pitlochry. We were... Lovely warm & friendly welcome from Lorraine and Mike. Very attractive home, nicely decorated in all areas and spotlessly clean. Very good choice and presentation of breakfast, really enjoyed the continental option and my husband said it was the best porridge he has ever tasted (he is till going on about it 2 months later!!). Lorraine made such a fuss... More
