After a long run down from Inverness, Matt was ready and waiting with chilled beers at the ready - sorted! Clothes were duly run through the washer. Can't recommend highly enough - Top bloke. Ultra-comfy room meant we were suitably recharged for next days cycling. If you're end-to-ending you can't go wrong.

A great start to the holiday. The accommodation is excellent, as is the location. Matthew was very attentive without being overbearing and seemed to be constantly thinking of how to improve our experience of the area. He was a fund of local knowledge. We would recommend Tummel Lodge without reservation.

First class service, immaculate accommodation, and stunningly beautiful surroundings. Thank you Matt for helping to make our Etape weekend a fabulous one. Strongly recommended.

My partner and I stayed at Tummel Lodge for 3 days this spring (2012) and I have to say it was the highlight of our holiday. We were travelling by train, and as the B&B is a little out of Pitlochry itself Matt picked us up from the train station...then proceeded to give us lifts here there and everywhere so... More

Though I am an extensive user of Trip Advisor and consumer of others' reviews, I have not done much to reciprocate. My mid-April experience at Tummel Lodge was simply so good I have to break with my lazy tradition. From my first email communications with Matt until the last wave good-bye going down his driveway, everything was a five star... More

This is a first class B & B. Beautiful clean house, bright and modern with a lovely sitting room and very comfortable bed rooms. Its in a lovely quiet situation with beautiful views. The owner Matt is a great host and could not do enough to make us feel welcome and relaxed. We enjoyed our stay and left with home... More

Myself, Dad and Brother used Tummel Lodge as a stop off at the begining and end of a trip round Northern Scotland. Matt made us very welcome with a pot of tea and biscuits when we arrived late afternoon, he knew in advance we would be looking to have a meal out and had booked us in at a local... More

Matt couldn't do enough for us. Drove us ato and back from pub via local sights. Up early to make our brekkie before the off. Bikes held in garage and hot cuppa and clothes washed on arrival. Shame about the change in weather as we left, but a loverly house!

Arrived after dark and was welcomed into the cosy sitting room with the woodburner ablaze and a tray of coffee served up while Matt made our reservations for the Logierait Inn. (His recommendation) Drove us there and told us to phone when we needed picked up again. Had an excellent meal in very comfortable surroundings - a great choice. On... More

We arrived quite late to Edinburg for a round trip in Scotland. This B&B was perfect for a start next morning to go to northern cost. Matt was expecting us but we had some problem to find the house so he picked us up by the petrol station in Pitlochery. It was like coming home to a friend and we... More
