Classy b&B with pretty location by the river offering top class facilities and excellent food. Stayed here because it is right next to the Pitlochery Theatre where we attended a performance and convenient for Pitlochery which is a pleasant small town a short drive away. Next to the hotel is a dam with a channel built to protect the salmon... More

Great place for visiting Pitlochry and the theatre which is on your doorstep. There are only three bedrooms . We stayed for three nights and occupied the River Room on ground floor - well furnished and comfortable with a window looking directly onto the river. The restuarant was cosy and the food of good quality - the menu was limited... More

Booked blind due to proximity to Festival Theatre, this proved not only a few 100yds from theatre but also on the banks of the River Tummel, a similar distance to the Salmon ladder. Riverside bar. Comfortable, well appointed cosy en-suite room with view direct onto the Tummel. Easy walk into town. Friendly staff and pre-theatre dining, for which the set... More

This is a stunning traditional stone cottage upgraded to the highest standard sitting right on the banks of the River Tummel. They have got the mixture just perfect. You will find all the luxuries you would expect in a five star hotel sitting side by side with the charm and features of a homely cottage. We stayed in the “Tummel... More

Just returned from a two day break at this 400 year old Inn on the banks of the River Tummel. The location is very quiet, considering it is only a few hundred yards from the A9 road, and a short walk across a pedestrian suspension bridge to the centre of Pitlochry. Angela and her staff are very friendly and helpful... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in their lovely accommodation. The Tay room is spacious and nicely styled. Breakfast is fabulous in the conservatory with good choices and attention to detail. Fruit salad with yoghurt and granola is really nice. Evening food in the restaurant is lovely and if your vegetarian just ask for additional options if your not... More

We were welcomed by Angela who couldn't have been more helpful. The room was on the ground floor, really good size with a jacuzzi bath. The whole experience was better than some luxury hotels. Food fabulous and the attention to detail really made a difference. There really aren't enough superlatives to describe this experience.

This beautiful Inn and restaurnant is picture perfect next to the river Tummel in Pitlochry, Perthshire. My husband and me spent 3 lovely nights here for a getaway break. We had the Tay suite, a cosy comfy large room with king bed, sofa, open fire and spacious bathroom with jaquzzi and shower. There are 3 rooms in total, very quiet... More

Went to pitlochry and tried the place, coffee was great, outdoor area was magnificent with a view to die for. Did not check the rooms but area is close to many other places to visit yet not on the regulars track, so leaves you room to relx the serene scenes and relax
